World Wide Wisdom from the World Wide Web

World Wide Wisdom from the World Wide Web

An American living and working in the Middle East has launched humanwrites. com as the first global forum intended to challenge all of the negative international broadcast news that tends to divide, rather than unite, this family of man. "Contrary to first impression, the site does not explore "human-rights" issues that are so often surrounded by controversy and complicated by underlying political and economic overtones. Rather, this human-writes site focuses on our likeness through topics ranging from world peace to lessons learned in life. By means of a dynamic survey, humanwrites. com (http://www. humanwrites. com) seeks to capture what writers worldwide have to say about their human experience", says the sites owner, John Breton.

(PRWEB) July 10, 2001

Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia - 9 July, 2001 (PRN): An American living and working in the Middle East has launched humanwrites. com as the first global forum intended to challenge all of the negative international broadcast news that tends to divide, rather than unite, this family of man. "Contrary to first impression, the site does not explore "human-rights" issues that are so often surrounded by controversy and complicated by underlying political and economic overtones. Rather, this human-writes site focuses on our likeness through topics ranging from world peace to lessons learned in life. By means of a dynamic survey, humanwrites. com (http://www. humanwrites. com (http://www. humanwrites. com)) seeks to capture what writers worldwide have to say about their human experience", says the sites owner, John Breton.

The mission of the site is to confirm that people everywhere speak from a single heart on matters of true importance once free of so many geographic, political, and societal distractions. To give voice to this oneness, humanwrites. com will present a varying list of questions meant to capture the essence of the humanity. The ultimate goal of the company will be to collect, classify, and publish a series of humanwrites journals.

The site's owner, John Breton, created humanwrites. com as a reaction to his experiences working and living abroad. "Over the years, I have had the pleasure to meet and befriend many people from very diverse backgrounds," Breton says. "It was strikingly obvious that regardless our backgrounds, country of origin, religion foundation and politics, our primary concerns for family, friendship, peace, and health were no different. Why not confirm this observation via the global Internet community."

The questions asked on Humanwrites. com will change regularly, creating the opportunity for writers of all ages and abilities to weigh in and be heard on a wide range of topics. Respondents whose work is selected for publication in one or more of the humanwrites. com journals will be credited in each volume for their contribution and will be included in a royalty pool built around each journal as it goes to press. A latest element of the project is the introduction of a cash award paid for the best seasonal insights against the questions posed and the inclusion of them online within the body of the site for all to enjoy and learn from.

"I envision that the Journal series can be published to age specific groups, by gender, and/or by question/grouping of questions around a particular topic. For instance, one journal may focus solely on the question, 'What is the meaning of life?' and then presented by age groupings such as children under ten, the baby boomers, or those over 65. Each will have a unique perspective and all will have something of value to say if we would just listen," says Breton.

"Then, too, this can be an excellent avenue to the wisdom of our senior citizens in the world community. humanwrites. com can become a global instrument for tapping into this most valuable but oft overlooked resources. Giving a voice to the accumulated wisdom of these long lived lives will allow us to view the world through their eyes, to learn from their experiences, and will allow them to explore their own reality."

The reasons for participation are as varied as we are, which only adds to the richness of the site. It is not just the rich and famous, scholars or clergy, that have something to share. This is a unique opportunity to have your say on a variety of topics. To learn more about humanwrites. com and the potential for participation in this global venture, visit http://www. humanwrites. com/index. html (http://www. humanwrites. com/index. html). Investor inquiries welcome. In these challenging times, there is no better time than now to stand up and confirm that "we" are of a single heart and that love alone will take us to a better place.

The Food for Everyone Foundation Returns From a Mission; Introducing the Best Gardening Methods on the Planet

The Food for Everyone Foundation Returns From a Mission; Introducing the Best Gardening Methods on the Planet

Mr. Jim Kennard, President of Food For Everyone Foundation (FFEF), reports that the Foundation’s recent 5-month humanitarian gardening training project in Armenia was a great success in helping people learn to grow their own food, and cites it as evidence that the Foundation teaches “the best gardening methods on the planet” for the home vegetable gardener.

Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) October 10, 2006

Mr. Kennard advises that FFEF helps people in several ways. Of greatest interest to the American home gardener may be their policy of providing free vegetable gardening information, training, tips, and advice on the internet at www. foodforeveryone. org. According to Kennard, people from all over the world visit the website to receive free training and advice, as well as to obtain the great gardening books, CDs and software written by Dr. Jacob R. Mittleider.

The Mittleider Gardening Basics Course ebook is free on the website. The free FAQ section also has 365 short gardening articles that answer people's questions and give advice on many important vegetable gardening subjects.

In addition, the Foundation provides free greenhouse plans, free plans to automate a garden watering system, and a free gardening group where people share tips and experience with thousands of other successful gardeners.

Important distinguishing features of the Foundation’s gardening methods set it apart from other methods and make it “even better than organic” according to Kennard, who then proceeded to explain those differences.

“Most of the time our gardens are grown right in the soil, with no amendments. We promise ‘a great garden in any soil, in almost any climate’. From straight sand to the worst clay, we show people how to have success growing healthy, delicious vegetables the first time and every time.”

We learned that “Grow-Boxes” or containers are sometimes needed for people in urban settings. Mr. Kennard assured us that container gardening can be just as effective as growing in the soil, and that 3 of Dr. Mittleider’s 10 books are dedicated to the unique features of the container gardening process.

Even though the costs are very low, the Mittleider Method is sometimes called "the poor man's hydroponic system", because it borrows from greenhouse growers such things as vertical growing, feeding plants accurately with natural mineral nutrients, and extending the growing season in both spring and fall, all of which reportedly greatly increase gardening yields.

The Second major element in the Foundation’s mission is teaching, training, and assisting people directly. One way they do this in America is by conducting free ½-day group gardening seminars. These can be arranged by contacting Mr. Kennard.

The third leg of FFEF’s global mission is conducting humanitarian projects, such as the recently concluded training project in Armenia. From February to mid July Mr. Kennard and other FFEF volunteers created a gardening training center in the village of Getk, with housing, classroom, greenhouse, and a 3/4 acre garden. They taught a concentrated college-level gardening course to several students, who became the gardening experts in their own villages, and then Kennard assisted those student graduates in working with 200 families in their villages. Mr. Kennard reports that the training center and garden were left in the able hands of an Armenian couple, and he expects the work there will continue.

“In Armenia, as in other places we've worked, we grew many kinds of vegetables the locals thought couldn't possibly be grown in "their region", and often had many non-participating village families coming to our garden for advice, coaching, and free produce”.

Humanitarian projects sometimes take the form of training others who are becoming missionaries for their churches. One example is Howard (a retired dentist with little previous experience in gardening) and Glenice Morgan, from Southern California, who just returned from a 2-year mission to Zimbabwe. They were sent to teach Mittleider gardening to their church members throughout the country, and they did “a fabulous job”, according to Kennard.

After some study and nominal training in FFEF’s garden at Utah’s Hogle Zoo, the Morgans “had the time of their lives” as they created 84 large gardens and taught over 10,500 people throughout Zimbabwe to feed themselves by growing their own healthy vegetables. And the only teaching material they used was the simplest and most basic of Mittleider’s books, called 6 Steps to Successful Gardening.

Mr. Kennard declares that “whatever level you are currently on, you too can experience this kind of success – whether it’s in your own home garden, a community effort, or as a humanitarian missionary in some distant country”.

The foundation welcomes tax-deductible donations to help them extend their efforts. Gifts can be made at www. foodforeveryone. org/give (http://www. foodforeveryone. org/give )

Harness the Most Powerful Biological Force in the Universe

Harness the Most Powerful Biological Force in the Universe

Sensational new research reveals that hormones are the missing piece to the fat loss puzzle and are the key to lifetime youthfulness and optimal health!

New York, NY (PRWEB) August 25, 2004

Before you invest time and money in yet another diet or fitness program that is doomed to failure, take some time to discover how your own hormones can be utilized effectively to transform your body and turn back the hands of time on aging.

Recent medical research has proven that aging, health and body composition are more closely related than previously understood - and hormones (the most powerful biological force in the universe) are the unifying factor. The most important of these biological powerhouses is Human Growth Hormone (HGH). HGH is produced by the pituitary gland and is regulated by the hypothalamus area of the brain. As we age HGH production declines. This decline in HGH production has many profound effects on the entire human body. The decline of HGH is now known to be directly responsible for accelerating the aging process.

These all too familiar symptoms of aging occur due to the decline of HGH in your body.

• Increased body fat

• Loss of energy and vitality

• Dry skin

• Wrinkles

• Hair loss

• Muscle loss

• Osteoporosis

• Decrease in libido and sexual performance

In his book, Natural Hormonal Enhancement, Rob Faigin, has documented more than 1700 references to the worldÂ’s leading medical and scientific journals that support and prove this theory of using one grand strategy to attack the three areas of aging, body composition, and hormones simultaneously -- to arrest aging while achieving superhealth, while at the same time enhancing lean body mass, and permanently eliminating excess bodyfat. Natural Hormonal Enhancement advances his grand strategy concept in a detailed and concise form that the average person can easily understand and follow. As a result, Faigin has introduced the first ever comprehensive program for naturally enhancing fat-burning, muscle-building, and anti-aging hormones.

Details on his program are available in his book Natural Hormonal Enhancement that can be purchased online for $29.97 at www. powerantiaging. com an authority on anti-aging strategies. PAA is a comprehensive, holistic program that is simple, enjoyable, fun and is guaranteed to enhance every aspect of your life.

Teradyne tops The Boston Globe's Globe 100 List of Publicly Traded Companies in Mass

Teradyne tops The Boston Globe's Globe 100 List of Publicly Traded Companies in Mass.

The Globe's annual listing of the top 100 publicly traded companies in Massachusetts, based on a composite score reflecting several criteria.

(PRWEB) May 23, 2001

Electronics Companies Sweep the Top Three Slots on the "Globe 100" Ranking

Analog Devices & LTX Corporation Rank Second and Third

BOSTON, May 22, 2001 – Teradyne, the world’s largest supplier of automatic test equipment for the electronics and telecommunications industries, garnered "Company of the Year" honors in the "Globe 100," The Boston Globe's 13th annual ranking of Massachusetts-based, publicly traded companies on their performance across a range of criteria.

Analog Devices and LTX Corporation captured the second and third spots, respectively.

The Globe 100, begun in 1989 and the first list of its kind in the region, rates MassachusettsÂ’ publicly held companies on the following criteria: return on average equity; one-year percentage change in revenue; one-year percentage change in profit margin; and total annual revenue. A composite score is generated and used to determine the rankings. Public companies throughout Massachusetts representing all business categories are included in this objective evaluation.

It is the second time in five years that Teradyne has seized the top spot. In 2000, Teradyne reported sales of $3 billion, representing a 70-percent increase from 1999. Earnings totaled $518 million, more than the companyÂ’s total net earnings for the years 1996 through 1999. TeradyneÂ’s semiconductor test business was the principal engine that fueled the companyÂ’s growth.

"ThereÂ’s no question that weÂ’re coming off a phenomenal year," says George Chamillard, chief executive officer of Teradyne. "WeÂ’ve worked very hard to stay at the top of a brutally competitive and rapidly changing industry, and weÂ’ll continue to do so."

The Boston Globe isnÂ’t the only one to recognize the companyÂ’s success. Teradyne has ranked among the ten best suppliers of test equipment for more than

11 years, according to VLSI Research in San Jose, California.

Headquartered in Boston, with manufacturing facilities in New England, California, Ireland and Japan, TeradyneÂ’s stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (symbol: TER), and the company is included in the S&P 500 Index.

For the second year in a row, Norwood-based Analog Devices captured the number-two position in the "Globe 100" list. In 2000, the company enjoyed its most prosperous year to date, with a 75-percent increase in revenue and a profit margin that tripled from 1999. Analog is a leading manufacturer of precision, high performance, integrated circuits used in analog and digital signal processing.

Rounding out the top three slots of the "Globe 100" is LTX Corporation, the Westwood-based company that designs, manufactures, markets and services semiconductor test equipment. LTXÂ’s revenue increased nearly 100 percent in 2000, delivering record earnings of $58.5 million.

Numbers four and five, respectively, on the "Globe 100" list are EMC Corporation and Helix Technology Corporation. EMC was twice voted the number-one company in Massachusetts; this is Helix TechnologyÂ’s first appearance on the list. Also of note is Burlington-based Lightbridge, Inc., ranked 39th, which boasts the only female CEO among the 100 companies.

"Teradyne's achievement, particularly during unpredictable economic times, is remarkable, and we applaud their tremendous results," says Peter Mancusi, business editor for The Boston Globe. "Clearly though, sustaining that growth in the face of a difficult economy has already posed significant challenges during the first half of 2001, and that, of course, applies to every one of the Globe 100."

 The breakdown of the 2001 Globe 100 list among categories is: manufacturing/ industrial (16), electronics (15), banking (11), services (11), financial services (10), consumer goods (10), technology (9), retail/restaurant/entertainment (8), health care (6), biotech (2), telecom (2).

The "Globe 100" special section will appear in The Boston Globe and the Worcester Telegram & Gazette on Tuesday, May 22. A complete list of the Globe 100 will also be available online at www. boston. com.

The Boston Globe, New EnglandÂ’s largest circulation newspaper and one of the top 10 Sunday and top 15 daily metropolitan newspapers in the U. S., is a wholly-owned subsidiary of The New York Times Company (NYSE: NYT), a diversified media company including newspapers, television and radio stations, and electronic information and publishing. The CompanyÂ’s core purpose is to enhance society by creating, collecting and distributing high-quality news, information and entertainment. In 2001 the Company was ranked No. 1 in the publishing industry in FortuneÂ’s list of AmericaÂ’s Most Admired Companies. In October 2000 the Company was ranked No. 1 in the publishing industry in FortuneÂ’s survey of the Global Most Admired Companies and was ranked first among all companies in the survey for the quality of its products and services.

The Company, which had 2000 revenues of $3.5 billion, publishes The New York Times, The Boston Globe and 15 other newspapers; operates eight network-affiliated television stations and owns two New York City radio stations. It also operates news, photo and graphics services as well as news and feature syndicates. A division of the Company, New York Times Digital, operates Internet properties such as NYTimes. com, Boston. com and newyorktoday. com. The Company holds interests in one newsprint mill, one supercalendered paper mill and the International Herald Tribune S. A.S.

PricewaterhouseCoopers Forecasts Top 10 Issues for the Health Care Industry in 2006

PricewaterhouseCoopers Forecasts Top 10 Issues for the Health Care Industry in 2006

In a report issued today by PricewaterhouseCoopers Health Research Institute, the rising costs of health care coverage and the implications of the Drug Medicare Plan are among the Top 10 business issues for the Health Industries in 2006.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) January 10, 2006 -

– In a report issued today by PricewaterhouseCoopers Health Research Institute, the rising costs of health care (http://www. pwchealth. com) coverage and the implications of the Drug Medicare Plan (http://www. pwchealth. com) are among the Top 10 Business Issues for the Health Industries in 2006. Also high on the list, according to the report, is the rise of consumer directed health care and health savings accounts, pressure on pharmaceutical companies and the urgent need to reduce medical errors and make investments in information technology, including electronic medical records.

“Given rising health care costs, a growing population without health insurance coverage and concerns over patient safety, the health care industry is under intense pressure to change,” said Jim Henry, Partner, Global Health Care Leader, PricewaterhouseCoopers. “Addressing these issues and ensuring the sustainability of our health system will mean sweeping changes for every participant in the health industries.”

The top 10 issues are:

1. Medicare and the Drug Medicare Plan

The Drug Medicare Plan (http://www. pwchealth. com) introduces a powerful single purchaser of drugs in the U. S., which could put negative pricing pressure on pharmaceutical companies (http://www. pwc. com/extweb/pwcpublications. nsf/0/47F0674FE717E48F85256E53006A51CD? OpenDocument). Look for premiums to go up if the program does not attract a sufficient number of subscribers, and for Congress to rein in spending if Medicare costs continue to increase.

2. Care and Coverage of the Uninsured

As more and more Americans drop health insurance coverage, hospitals are seeing bad debt levels rise. While a few payers have begun to collaborate on pilot programs to develop low-cost health insurance coverage, providers will continue to face the issue of how to handle uncompensated care and its impact on their bottom line,

3. The Rise of the Health Care Consumer

The simple days of $10 co-pays will become a distant memory for Americans with high-deductible health plans and Health Savings Accounts. In 2006, health plans will develop new products to meet the needs of consumers paying more out of their own pockets. As consumers become increasingly price-sensitive and comparison shop for generic drugs, pharmaceutical and life sciences companies may need to examine their product portfolios.

4. Focus on Prevention: Wellness is In; Fat is Out

Consumers who are paying more of the direct cost of their health care have an increased incentive to diet, exercise, quit smoking and manage their health and lifestyle. In 2006, expect an increase in government and employer-sponsored health promotion initiatives and a growing market for drugs, treatments and services oriented toward wellness and prevention.

5. Calls for Patient Safety to Drive Health IT Investments

Calls for improved patient safety will intensify in 2006, and the health care industry will turn to technology to help reduce medical errors and improve tracking and reporting of safety and quality standards. Annual investments in health care IT are expected to nearly double to approximately 5 percent of revenue from an average of 2 to 3 percent now.

6. Diminishing Drug Pipeline (http://www. pwcglobal. com/extweb/industry. nsf/docid/2FE6C827DA1BFC70852570590022FA2B)

The pharmaceutical industry will be focused in the year ahead on boosting R&D productivity and cutting costs. With the cost of drug development in excess of $800 million per drug, pharmaceutical companies are under pressure to produce, but their margins are getting slipping. The imminent expiration of key patents could further decrease revenue by up to 60 percent, according to PricewaterhouseCoopers

7. Pay for Performance

The increased emphasis on reimbursement tied to performance will place new demands on health industries executives to develop quality measures so that payers can evaluate providers. Health organizations will need to rely more on information technology to capture, store, retrieve and report quality information. To win financial bonuses for quality, hospitals and physicians will need to work together to change behavior and measure clinical performance against these standards.

8. Report Card Fever

There will be increasing demand for more transparency in health care. In 2006, health organizations will focus on developing proactive public reporting of their prices, error rates and safety standards and charity care policies.

9. Technology Backbone

Slow adoption of information technology is at the heart of many of the issues plaguing the health care industry. Significant progress will be made in 2006 by government, industry coalitions and banks to build a technology infrastructure to improve claims processing, create electronic medical records, reduce medical errors and track performance. Health care organizations need to develop a system for making decisions about technology investments.

10. Labor Shortages

To address the ongoing shortage of health care workers, health care organizations will look to redefine staff functions and pursue increased use of automation for administrative functions, outsourcing, subsidized training, aggressive recruitment and retention.

Jarred Yaron CEO & President for Aqua Matrix Has Made It Easier for People to Break Into the Entertainment Industry With Revolutionary Technology

Jarred Yaron CEO & President for Aqua Matrix Has Made It Easier for People to Break Into the Entertainment Industry With Revolutionary Technology

The concept evolved when Jarred Yaron CEO & President and Dexter Means Vice President simply recognized a need for a service. They felt that they could profoundly affect the casting system of the entertainment industry with the ease of Aqua Matrix.

(PRWEB) December 23, 2004

Aqua Matrix, Inc. is a leading talent technology services company headquartered in the epicenter of the entertainment industry, New York City www. aquamatrix. net.

As a nationally recognized entrepreneur, Jarred Yaron CEO & President of Aqua Matrix credits his success to his ability to create and nurture lasting, functioning, and flourishing relationships. At the age of 25, YaronÂ’s most recent business success has been with Yaron Properties, Inc., closing multi-million dollar real estate deals, acting as CEO of the entrepreneurial real estate investment management firm, based in Philadelphia with offices in New York and Miami.

While Jarred continues to work with Yaron Properties, he simultaneously focuses his time and energy on a new, highly innovative venture: Aqua Matrix, the talent network. Aqua Matrix is a highly revolutionary concept offering online casting for talent and Technology for executives in the entertainment industry, both nationally and internationally. Yaron created Aqua Matrix in the spring of 2003 with friend and former agent, Dexter Means.

The concept evolved when Means and Yaron simply recognized a need for a service. They felt that they could profoundly affect the casting system of the entertainment industry with the ease of www. aquamatrix. net

As a deeply spiritual person, Yaron collaborates with Means to ensure that they focus their efforts not only on the business aspect of the project, but on the sensory and aesthetic value of Aqua as well. “I put great value on the words of Henry Ford, who said: ‘Whether you think you can, or think you can’t, you’re right.’ I believe that it really is that simple, and through Aqua, we can inspire with philosophies such as this and shift the tides of thinking of an entire population who dream to do something bigger, but cannot find a path” Yaron says, insistent about motivating people to have a better attitude about job opportunities.

Although figures such as Donald Trump and Henry Ford are business successes that Yaron respects, he also models additional figures who have affected the world in a much more profound way. Yaron’s philosophy follows that of the greatest figures of the 20th century. The legendary Nelson Mandela and Ghandi are among those who are a major source of personal inspiration. “I believe in much more than providing a service to those that are interested. I am involved in Aqua Matrix because I want people to be honestly informed. I want the Aqua Matrix experience to educate, inspire and motivate. From the music to the lights to the services offered, our guests are getting a first-class experience. Whether they visit us again or not, I want them to leave feeling better for having been here.”

One final aspect of Aqua Matrix that Yaron is happy to divulge is its name origin. The business partners founded Aqua Matrix with a strong sense of both words’ meaning. “Aqua is a very powerful word. The majority of the earth is made of water, and we as humans are made up of mostly water. We developed this name to express to people that they have the resources to be as powerful as the oceans of the world. They have the power to direct their own path.”

“…through Aqua, we can inspire and shift the tides of thinking of an entire population who dream to do something bigger, but cannot find a path …”

Yaron continues his quest for personal enlightenment in all aspects of his life, physically, emotionally, and professionally. He has geared Yaron Properties to succeed in this millennium with revolutionary concepts, including plans for a spiritual development community. This community will offer luxury living that encourages total harmony of mind, body, and spirit. Yaron will make what many consider an abstract idea concrete with an understanding of the importance of a healthy environment to compliment what may be an already healthy mind and body.

Aqua Matrix possesses an additional corporate mission that services industry professionals such as agencies and casting directors, thirsting for fresh, new waves of talent. AquaÂ’s mission is to provide talent-seekers with the most effective means of identification and placement of those individuals they seek to hire. During events, talent is identified and categorized, and the services detailed above help enhance and conform large pools of talent into a manageable database. This database of AquaFiles will be managed and maintained for the industry affiliates that desire accessibility.

Australian Retirement Visa Due to Cease 1 July 2005

Australian Retirement Visa Due to Cease 1 July 2005

Applications for the Australian Retirement visa, known as the Australian subclass 410 Retirement visa, will no longer be accepted after 30 June 2005, according to a statement made today by Len Holt, president, Migration Institute of Australia (MIA).

(PRWEB) March 29, 2005

Applications for the Australian Retirement visa, known as the Australian subclass 410 Retirement visa, will no longer be accepted after 30 June 2005, according to a statement made today by Len Holt, president, Migration Institute of Australia (MIA).

Under the current Australian Retirement visa scheme, UK nationals over the age of 55 are eligible to live in the country for a period of two years. Visa holder status is re-examined every two years on a roll-over basis.

‘At this point, it is still possible for UK nationals to meet the deadline, but they need to begin the application process today,’ said Chris Cook, manager, case work department, Australian Visa Bureau. ‘Anyone considering applying for the Australian subclass 410 Retirement visa needs to meet the basic requirements and fulfil the medical and police requirements too. Retirees should consider consulting a registered Australian migration agent for details and a complete understanding of the application process and timelines,’ said Cook.

The basic requirements for an Australian subclass 410 Retirement visa are:

Have a base capital (Asset) level of AUD $870,000 or

Have a base capital (Asset) level of AUD $800,000, (if you have a Non-Dependant child living permanently in Australia) or

Have a base capital (Asset) level of $A350,000 plus pensions and or other capital (Asset) for investment that can provide an annual income of AUD $52,000 per year. (This figure covers joint husband and wife applications) or

Have a base capital (Asset) level of AUD $315,000 plus pensions and or other capital (asset) for investment that can provide an annual income of AUD $50,000 (if you have a Non-Dependant Child living permanently in Australia)

Additional criteria to be met:

Have no intention of working full-time Have no dependent children or any other dependent family members Be of good health and character Hold adequate health cover

Persons who currently hold 410 visas, or those applicants who lodge prior to the cut-off date of 30 June 2005, which result in the granting of a Retirement visa, will be treated differently according to information supplied by Mr Holt. Changes coming from the Australian Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs (DIMIA) have yet to be confirmed, according to Mr Holt.

‘The 410 visa is to be replaced by the Regional Investor category, but it is not clear at this point that this will come into effect on 1 July,’ Mr Holt said in a statement to MIA members. ‘There appears to be some level of resistance on the part of one or other of the State/Territory Governments,’ said Mr Holt.

Correct Your Metabolism with the Only Known Weight Loss Cure

Correct Your Metabolism with the Only Known Weight Loss Cure

People are astounded at the almost immediate results using the HCG Weight Loss Cure.

Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) February 22, 2010

While obesity seems to plaguing America at an alarming rate, very few know how to actually cure it.

Weigh Less hCG is announcing "a way out" special on all hCG Weight Loss Cure Kits.

Thanks to the discovery of Dr. A. T.W. Simeons, and brought to light by New York Times Best-Selling author Kevin Trudeau, author of the New York Times Best Selling Book "The Weight Loss Cure" - The Weight Loss Cure "THEY" Don't Want You to Know About, there is indeed a healthy way to lose weight without the use of drugs or any surgery.

Success stories are abound when it comes to those who have ever tried the Weight Loss Cure.

Now it is possible up to lose 43 pounds in 43 days, or for those need to lose less, 23 pounds in 23 days by following the weight loss protocol as discovered by Dr. Simeons.

How does it work?

When Dr. Simeons was performing his studies in India on weight loss in 1959 (refer to www. weighlesshcg. com/simeons (http://www. weighlesshcg. com/simeons)), he learned by watching the working women of the field, that even though they themselves were practically starving to death, no matter what they were still giving birth to normal weight babies. Which led him to the conclusion that the natural hormone hCG, which is created by the body during pregnancy, actually allows the body's stored fat to be mobilized and used as fuel.

Since the body's natural hormone hCG is readily found within the urine of pregnant women, he started giving treatment to overweight boys using hCG along with a specialized VLCD (very low calorie diet).

Dr. Simeons' realized with these treatments, the boys in question were consistently losing a pound a day without any signs of hunger. (refer to www. weighlesshcg. com/services (http://www. weighlesshcg. com/services))

Even though the FDA still refuses to acknowledge Dr. Simeons for his accomplishments, it is legal for people to prescribe treatment for themselves under constitutional law (refer to www. weighlesshcg. com/privacy (http://www. weighlesshcg. com/privacy)). Although Weigh Less HCG does not sell hCG directly, there is a way of obtaining complete HCG Weight Loss Cure Kits via an international escrow service that can assist you within 3-5 business days.

Purchasing hCG Weight Loss Cure Kits from Weigh Less HCG (www. weighlesshcg. com) can help those who are interested in losing excess weight safely, permanently and effectively.

Marketing Chairperson Jenine Garrish states in regards to the diet plan, "Because of the painful social stigmas that can go along with being overweight, we believe that every person deserves to seek happiness. And for many of our clients, happiness IS weight loss!"

The average hCG dieter experiences rapid weight loss averaging 1 to 3 pounds per day. In addition to loss of unwanted fat, the true benefit of the hCG protocol is its ability to help modify the dieter's relationship with food and eating, resulting in easily maintained, long-term weight loss.

LRA Worldwide CEO Rob Rush Invited to Address the Historic Hotels of America Annual Meeting

Rob Rush, CEO of LRA Worldwide, Inc., has been invited to address the attendees at the Historic Hotels of American Annual Meeting, October 24-26 at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan.

Horsham, PA (PRWEB) October 11, 2006

Rob Rush, CEO of LRA Worldwide, Inc., has been invited to address the attendees at the Historic Hotels of American Annual Meeting, October 24-26 at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan. Rush will address the gathering Wednesday, October 25th at 11:30 AM on Customer Experience Management or CEM.

Rush, one of the pioneers in the rapidly-growing field of CEM, will focus his presentation specifically on how certain companies attain a competitive advantage via the design and implementation of enhanced experiences that speak directly to customer needs and wants. The resulting formation of an emotional bond between the company and the customer yields a profitable, long-term relationship.

“Rob has been widely published in industry trades and general business publications over the years, and I have always been a big fan of his writing and point-of-view,” explained Thierry Roch, Executive Director of Historic Hotels of America. “When I read his recent article on emotional branding, it occurred to me that he would be a natural fit to speak at our annual meeting. All of our members are trying to gain as much insight as possible on how to create an emotional bridge to the guest, so Rob’s message will be of great interest.”

Rush has been a featured speaker at a number of corporate events and industry conferences in the past year. Rush has delivered the CEM message at annual meetings for Farm Credit Canada, InfoGenesis, the Delaware North Companies and Colorado Ski Country USA, among others; he has also presented at the North American Conference on Customer Management (Orlando, FL) and the Internal Branding Conference (New York, NY). Following his address to the Historic Hotels of America group in Michigan, Rush will travel to Rome to address the ESOMAR Leisure 2006 Conference on November 6th.

“This is an exciting opportunity to talk about Customer Experience Management and emotionally engaging the customer with a group that really gets it,” Rush said. “As CEM grows in acceptance and importance in the marketplace, we are working with more companies in financial services, healthcare, B2B and other sectors where being ‘customer-centric’ has traditionally been an afterthought. Our roots – both as a company and for me personally - are in the hospitality industry, so this feels like a homecoming of sorts.”

The annual meeting is one of the Historic Hotels of America membership benefits. Conducted within the leisurely, relaxed confines of historic Mackinac Island, members will receive information on brand and membership initiatives, new members, a small trade show and vendor presentations, and insights from various experts in and around the customer experience and customer feedback disciplines.

Healthy Black Hair Gets A Boost From New Fast Grow Hair Care Line

Healthy Black Hair Gets A Boost From New Fast Grow Hair Care Line

Research has proven that Black hair has special needs, and SalonWeb, a leading international provider of hair care products, is addressing these needs by taking a new, healthier approach to the issue. SalonWeb developed Fast Grow, a cutting edge supplement specifically designed for Black hair. The supplements are designed to provide the body with everything it needs to grow healthy hair.

Collierville, TN (PRWEB) January 2, 2007

It's a commonly held notion that the way to get strong, healthy hair is to strictly use a shampoo, conditioner, or topical solution that is rich in proteins, vitamins, and minerals. In actuality, what you eat can have a bigger effect on your hair's condition than what shampoo you use. SalonWeb has taken on the challenge of creating a dietary supplement formulated to provide the body with all of the vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that it needs to grow healthy hair…healthy Black hair. This cutting edge supplement is called Fast Grow and it is making quite an impact in the ethnic hair care industry.

According to Fast Grow creator Mike Trobee, "Having been in the business of successfully formulating hair care products for years, our African American customers were telling us that while they loved our products - Black hair is different. So, we decided to take those comments to heart and head back to the labs." What Trobee came up with is truly a breakthrough for Black hair.

In order to provide a complete hair care program, Accelerate Shampoo with Emu Oil was developed to compliment Fast Grow. This scientifically advanced shampoo contains a potent blend of vitamins, minerals, protein and moisturizers that work together to soften and strengthen hair. Both Accelerate and Fast Grow are part of SalonWeb's Exotic Allure line.

Fast Grow is often referred to as the "vitamin for faster growing hair." One Fast Grow customer claims that after using the supplements for about two months her hair "(has) grown 3 inches and is extremely healthy". Another user raves, "This product works! It makes your hair really healthy and manageable." Trobee states, "We get testimonials like these on a daily basis. People are thrilled to find a product that truly makes their hair healthier and more resistant to the damage that harsh chemical treatments can cause. We love hearing that we've helped."

World's First Healthy Coffee

World's First Healthy Coffee

Answers for several health problems as easy as drinking coffee.

Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) April 20, 2006

Today’s stock market shows that coffee is a 90 billion dollar industry. What does that mean for U. S. consumers? On average, consumers in North America drink more than 400 million cups of coffee a day. No better way to start the day, right? However, because of this development we are seeing growth in health problems due to caffeine and acid intake, but there is an easy remedy for this without giving up this popular beverage.

Among the many examples of health problems caused by caffeine and acid is an alarming growth in cardiovascular health conditions and heightened blood pressure, which then contributes to the development of heart disease. Caffeine also stimulates the production of stress hormones which raises anxiety, muscular tension, indigestion and a decrease in immunity.

The human body calls for alkaline pH balance for the best possible health. There are over 208 acids within regular coffee that can contribute to a wide variety of health problems due to the breakdown of the pH level. These problems can include arthritis, skin irritations and stomach problems. The list of ailments goes on, and leaves a thinking person ready to quit drinking coffee altogether if it wasn’t for the fact that consumers have grown accustomed to the rich aroma and taste, as well as the energy boost it gives. In today’s world of heightened health awareness the desire to drink a healthy coffee has become an issue. Consumers do not want to give up their java, but do want to take care of their bodies.

The answer could be as simple as switching the brand of coffee you drink. The best of both worlds has finally arrived. Healthy Coffee! This new gourmet coffee makes it easy for the busy American to continue the enjoyment of their daily cup of java (or two or three) while improving their health. It has less caffeine than the regular decaffeinated coffee on the market and the robust flavor will surprise the most select of coffee consumers. What makes this coffee actually improve health as apposed to simply being decaffeinated? It is the secret ingredient, “The King of Herbs.”

Clinical studies have uncovered an ancient health secret used by the Asian countries for many centuries. The Ganoderma Lucidum mushroom; better known in many parts of the world as the “reishi mushroom” has been used for more than 4000 years in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is documented as a potent builder of the immune system to help our body’s natural ability to fight disease. It also reduces stress while maintaining a steady flow of energy and balances the pH level within the system. Reishi has been, until recently, a difficult and expensive herb to obtain. In the past it was only available to the very wealthy or reserved for royalty. With this new healthy coffee it has been made available for the general public.

Health Savings Accounts Mark 3 Month Birthday

Health Savings Accounts Mark 3 Month Birthday

Health Savings Accounts were introduced into law on January 1, 2004 and have already played a significant role in the evolution health benefits plans. The IRS and employee benefits industry fine-tuned HSAs today with several clarifications to the law and enrollment procedures

(PRWEB) April 1, 2004

Health Savings Accounts are only three months old but have already made a significant impact on the design of employee health benefit programs. The Bush re-election campaign names HSAs as one of a three-pronged attack on the nationÂ’s health care problem (the other two prongs are medical liability reform and association health plans). In other circles, HSAs have been tagged as just another tax shelter for the rich. But practitioners in the employee benefits industry report interest in HSAs is stronger and more widespread than any other health plan innovation to date. The IRS marked the occasion today by issuing three clarifying publications about HSAs.

In summary, an HSA works like this: A healthy person drops their current health insurance plan and switches to a special new insurance specifically designed for this program. High-risk applicants are not eligible for this type of health insurance. The new HSA-qualified insurance costs about 30% less than the former insurance. A covered person may then open an account similar to an IRA and make tax-deductible deposits. The employer may also make contributions. Withdrawals may be taken tax-free at any time to cover health expenses not paid by insurance. The income tax savings average about $1000 per year for a typical HSA owner.

HSAs are most popular with self-employed individuals who buy their own health insurance. They like to keep the required insurance cost low while reserving the option to make a larger tax-deductible contribution to an HSA account if funds are available. The unfortunate statistic is that the majority of people in the self-employed category are financially struggling to meet basic expenses and have a hard time affording any health insurance – with or without an HSA. As a result, the benefits realized tend to fall short of expectations. Affluent self-employed persons consider the switch to HSAs to be an easy decision and welcome the immediate tax break and the opportunity to make additional tax-free investments.

The main problem with HSAs is that the saving in insurance cost is small compared to the risk posed by the high policy deductible. This is because HSA-qualified plans rely on a more expensive type of that insurance called “commercial indemnity” that bases eligible coverage on a private physician’s recommendation. In contrast, HMOs are able to keep insurance costs lower by legally overriding doctors’ recommendations. If the insurance savings is $100 per month as compared with a full coverage HMO, but the policy deductible of the HSA plan is $5000, it takes four years of no claims months to break even. On the other hand, HSA-qualified insurance takes many of the hidden costs out of health care so the coverage gap might not be as large as it appears. HSA insurance plans may not use “per person” deductibles (often a problem in family plans), or charge co-payments for doctor office visits or prescription drugs. It is generally believed that the out-of-pocket costs for a household with “full coverage” health insurance is about $1,200, so this narrows the gap between HMO and HSA total costs. A detailed example of a calculation of HSA savings for a typical household is published at www. healthsavingsaccount-hsa. com

The Treasury clarified today that HSA insurance plans may provide preventative care benefits and state-mandated coverage without violating federal requirements. This clarification might encourage more insurance companies to offer this type of health insurance plan but for now the choices are extremely limited.

Another problem is that the majority of people who opened Health Savings Accounts so far this year did not enroll in qualifying insurance but kept their previous high deductible insurance. At this time the IRS has not said how it will track the tax cheaters.

For small businesses, philosophical acceptance of HSAs is more widespread but implementing changes within group plans takes time. The current topic of discussion is whether to offer HSA plans as an option alone or combine them with a Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA). At this time it appears that HRA plans hold a slight advantage over HSAs and FSAs for businesses providing health coverage to employees.

HSAs will not replace the managed care approach, but are a welcome tax break for healthy affluent individuals who insist on maintaining complete freedom of choice with regard to health care decisions.

Robert Frances Group Releases Report on Faxing in the Enterprise: In-depth analyst report estimates the cost of a hosted fax service to be roughly one-third to one-half the total cost of ownership of fax servers

Robert Frances Group Releases Report on Faxing in the Enterprise: In-depth analyst report estimates the cost of a hosted fax service to be roughly one-third to one-half the total cost of ownership of fax servers.

As enterprise IT managers and CIOs continue to be pressed to do more with less, using a hosted fax service can deliver a total cost of ownership that is roughly one-third to one-half the total cost of ownership of fax servers. That's the conclusion reached in a new white paper released today by analyst firm the Robert Frances Group (RFG).

OTTAWA (PRWEB) September 12, 2007

The 14-page report Analyzing Total Cost of Ownership for Internal v. Hosted Fax Services provides an in-depth look at the ongoing and hidden costs of using stand-alone fax machines or fax server technology in the enterprise, and how those costs can be reduced by moving to a hosted fax service.

"One of the key findings RFG has discovered is that owning and managing fax servers usually has many hidden costs," said Jerald Murphy, senior vice president and director of research with the Robert Frances Group. "These costs can include higher installation and deployment costs, integration costs, and overspending on excess capacity, networking/telephony and maintenance costs. They also add to IT's burden by creating another complex system that needs to be managed."

Murphy went on to state that hosted fax services "offer the same benefits (over stand-alone fax machines) as fax servers, along with improved mobility, significantly reduced downtime, scalability, and better security. In addition, because the infrastructure is outsourced there are no hidden maintenance, capital and operating costs."

The white paper provides a detailed analysis of both capital and operational costs involved with a fax server. Annual capital costs include software, hardware, design, and deployment costs, which in a typical enterprise sending 10,000 faxes per day are estimated at $6,930.

Even more eye-opening are the operational costs of fax servers. With software maintenance, networking maintenance, phone charges, and the cost of personnel to manage them, the total annual burden is an estimated $147,980, assuming all faxing is done from a central location. In an enterprise with 50,000 users in multiple locations, costs can escalate as high as $1,019,000 annually. RFG estimates the cost of a hosted fax service to be roughly one-third to one-half the total cost of ownership of fax servers.

One of the features of the white paper is an extensive analysis of the requirements for enterprise fax solutions. This section looks at factors such as availability and accountability, cost efficiency, scalability, and security that have to be taken into account when evaluating which fax solution best fits the enterprise. Enterprises that fall under legislation such as Sarbanes-Oxley and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) have to meet additional requirements in order to comply with those laws - a point Murphy says organizations often overlook.

"While there may be some sense of direct control by building a fax infrastructure internally, RFG has found that there are usually more costs and less control than executives would like to admit," Murphy said. "Internet fax services offer well-defined, easy to calculate costs, with none of the infrastructure planning or costs associated with building a dedicated fax environment. Typical operational savings should run from 49 to 64 percent of the costs of building and running service internally. At the same time the hidden costs are not incurred, security is improved, control is established, and documents are better managed with increased security."

Analyzing Total Cost of Ownership for Internal v. Hosted Fax Services is currently available for free download on the MyFax Web site http://www. myfax. com/downloads. asp? bt=c (http://www. myfax. com/downloads. asp? bt=c).
