Cardboardesign Selected by Wired Magazine to Design Its Green Booth in WIRED NextFest - Wired Magazine's Vision of a New World's Fair

Cardboardesign was pleased to be selected by Wired magazine to design its green booth in WIRED NextFest, Wired magazine's vision of a new world's fair.

New York, NY (PRWEB) September 29, 2006

Cardboardesign was pleased to be selected by Wired magazine to design its green booth in WIRED NextFest, Wired magazine's vision of a new world's fair.

WIRED NextFest is a festival of innovative products and technologies that are transforming the world. Patterned on the great World's Fairs of the past, this year's NextFest in New York features more than 130 interactive exhibits from leading scientists and researchers around the world. Experience the future of exploration, entertainment, transportation, health, design, communication, security, and green living (www. wired. com).

Cardboardesign created a "green booth" in the "Green Pavilion" made with honeycomb cell shaped cardboard. The honeycomb walls were 12 inches thick made with 4 inch honeycomb panels 3 layers thick. Our Project Table was the featured desk because it's taller than a regular table - it allows people to stand around the tables to have discussions and receive information. It keeps the flow of people moving through the booth so it doesn't become a resting spot for tired feet.

The show piece of the booth is a 500 pound engine resting on a pedestal made of the honeycomb cardboard. The strength the cardboard exhibits looks almost as surreal as the robots, space ships and wind powered homes surrounding the booth.

When asked about Cardboardesign, Victor Freidberg from Wired magazine was quick to say, "Grahm from www. treehugger. com was so enthusiastic about the cardboard furniture that it was a natural opportunity to use Cardboardesign products in our Green booth in the 'Green Pavilion' at WIRED NextFest."

Make Fibromyalgia Visible May 12

Make Fibromyalgia Visible May 12

International Observance Focuses on Syndrome that is a Leading Cause of Chronic Pain and Disability in U. S.

Belleville, Ill. (Vocus) May 3, 2010

The National Fibromyalgia Association (NFA) is encouraging organizations worldwide to make fibromyalgia visible by increasing awareness and understanding during Fibromyalgia Awareness Day on May 12. Allsup, a nationwide provider of Social Security disability representation and Medicare services is offering free posters to support the observance and provide information on the syndrome that affects an estimated five million Americans.¹

Fibromyalgia is characterized by chronic widespread pain, multiple tender points, abnormal pain processing (reacting strongly to things that other people would not find painful), sleep disturbances, fatigue and often psychological distress. For those with severe symptoms, fibromyalgia can be extremely debilitating and interfere with basic daily activities.

Research shows that people with fibromyalgia typically see as many as five doctors during a span of three years before receiving a diagnosis. The American College of Rheumatology has established a concise way for knowledgeable healthcare professionals (HCPs) to recognize and diagnose the disorder. It consists of a physical examination of 18 points at specific locations on the body. Eleven of those points must be tender upon palpation (manual examination). In addition, the patient must have a medical history of chronic body-wide pain in all four quadrants of the body lasting longer than three months. A rheumatologist is generally the most experienced HCP in making a fibromyalgia diagnosis.

Fibromyalgia and Social Security Disability Insurance

The Social Security Administration does not have a medical listing for fibromyalgia. To establish fibromyalgia as a medically determinable severe impairment it must meet the American College of Rheumatology criteria above, and there must be evidence of morning stiffness and/or stiffness after sitting for a short period of time and fatigue is to be present.

The NFA recommends keeping a journal to track pain throughout the day to discover patterns or certain activities that may exacerbate pain. Keeping a diary will also provide useful documentation for the SSDI application process.

Allsup works with hundreds of individuals with fibromyalgia each year and appreciates the challenges they face in dealing with an often misunderstood and misdiagnosed condition. Fibromyalgia is often referred to as “invisible” because you can’t see pain. People sometimes have a difficult time believing a person with a healthy appearance and positive outlook can be experiencing profound symptoms and limitations.

To help make Fibromyalgia visible, order and display free Fibromyalgia Day posters, available online at AllsupCares. com or by calling Karen Hercules-Doerr at (800) 854-1418, ext. 5770.

New Work Schedule has a Dramatic Effect on Manager's Health - Symptoms of BellÂ’s Palsy and Diabetes Greatly Reduced

New Work Schedule has a Dramatic Effect on Manager's Health - Symptoms of BellÂ’s Palsy and Diabetes Greatly Reduced

Changing his employer and his work schedule from 6 days per week to 4 days per week gave Mike Morales a new lease on life.

Tucson, AZ (PRWEB) August 14, 2004

Mike Morales has always been a hard worker. He worked for a national tire chain as a store manager for the last 16 years, and was at work five to six days a week for 10-12 hours a day. A year after making store manager with the national tire chain, Morales went in diabetic shock and spent three days in Intensive Care. That was in 1998 when he was 27 years old. From that point on, his blood sugar levels were regulated by two to three self-administered insulin shots per day. Seven months ago, Morales woke up to find his face was paralyzed, and he discovered he had contracted BellÂ’s Palsy, a disease characterized by paralysis and loss of facial control.

In June 2004, Truxxx Manufacturing lured him away from his career in the retail tire industry with something they could not offer – a four day work week. Truxxx Manufacturing was looking for an Operations Manager who understood the tire and wheel industry and could complement their line of lift kits for pickup trucks. Mike Morales accepted the challenge and discovered an unexpected side effect. “I can whistle!” Morales said after being with the company two weeks “With the Bell’s Palsy I haven’t been able to whistle in months.” Other noticeable effects of the work schedule change include a massive reduction in insulin usage (only one shot in two months), and a more relaxed home life. “He is much more patient with our kids – not as stressed out,” said his wife Renee. “I love that every weekend is a long weekend, I can spend so much more time with the kids, riding quads and going to Rocky Point in Mexico,” said Mike.

“Our schedule is a conventional 40 hour work week – we just pack it into 4 days instead of 5,” said Greg Pilling, president of Truxxx Manufacturing. “We needed someone with Mike’s knowledge and work ethic to help drive our product through the retail tire channel – so we offered the best incentive we could." While he admits that the health benefits were an unexpected bonus, he did feel that it was important to let employees recharge their emotional batteries. “Every corporation claims that their employees are their number one asset – and then they run the employees into the ground. We vowed not to do that when we started Truxxx."

Vibrant Media Signs 210 New Publishers to IntelliTXT During Last Eight Months

Vibrant Media Signs 210 New Publishers to IntelliTXT During Last Eight Months

Contextual keyword advertising model growing in popularity among users and publishers.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) December 10, 2004

Vibrant Media (http://www. vibrantmedia. com), a pioneer in contextual keyword advertising, today announced that it has added 210 additional publishers to its IntelliTXT network since April of this year, bringing the total number of publishers to 330. Overall use of the pay-for-performance advertising model has nearly tripled during the same period. The company was also recently named the second-fastest growing private technology company in Britain in the highly respected Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100.

The company credits the growth in the use of IntelliTXT (http://www. vibrantmedia. com/site/advertisers_01a. html) advertising model to increasing acceptance among users and publishers. Users value the access to relevant, clearly labeled advertising without having the ads forced on them. Publishers have seen solid revenue growth from the contextual keyword advertising model without the negative user feedback associated with other advertising models.

“We have been working with Vibrant Media for six months and have become very comfortable with the IntelliTXT links,” said Andres Lahoz, marketing manager at Popular Mechanics (http://www. popularmechanics. com). “We see significant value in the incremental revenue we generate, and our readers appreciate the unobtrusive delivery and relevancy of the ads.”

“Medicinenet. com (http://www. medicinenet. com) has to be extremely attentive to our viewers since we present educational content that deals with very sensitive personal health and medical issues,” said David Sorenson, vice president of marketing at MedicineNet, Inc. “I’ve been monitoring feedback to IntelliTXT very closely, and our users find the links unobtrusive and the advertisements useful.”

Recent new partners joining the IntelliTXT network and successfully utilizing contextual keyword advertising include Entrepreneur. com (http://www. entrepreneur. com), Popular Mechanics (http://www. popularmechanics. com), Consumer Review (http://www. consumerreview. com), and IDG Entertainment (http://www. idgentertainment. com).

Forbes. com (http://www. forbes. com), a partner since August of this year, has experimented broadly with IntelliTXT and recently decided that the most appropriate areas on its site for the advertisements were non-news pages, such as company profiles. Forbes reached the decision based on concerns from the editorial staff even though the company did not find that readers were confused or upset by the links.

“The tremendous growth in user and publisher acceptance rounds out a very strong year at Vibrant Media,” said Doug Stevenson, CEO, Vibrant Media. “The Forbes. com decision is an important and very positive one for us because it demonstrates that IntelliTXT can play a role on every major content site, even if it doesn’t appear in every area of every site.”

Developed by former AOL Europe colleagues Doug Stevenson and Craig Gooding, IntelliTXT allows users to view relevant advertising on their own terms. IntelliTXT creates sponsored text links from keywords within editorial-based content. This user-initiated advertising message provides readers with relevant product information, offers web publishers controlled access to the rapidly growing pay-for-performance market and acts as a vehicle for advertisers to deliver their messages in a highly relevant contextual environment.

About Vibrant Media

Vibrant Media is a pioneer in contextual keyword advertising, a new online advertising model that combines the power and relevance of contextual advertising with the market growth of pay-for-performance advertising. Vibrant MediaÂ’s IntelliTXT product is enabling more than 250 of the worldÂ’s leading web publishers and ad networks to better monetize editorial content with a non-intrusive approach that has won praise from publishers and online readers alike. Partnering with leading search and advertising technology vendors, Vibrant Media offers advertisers around the globe a new way to deliver tightly targeted messages to website readers.

Founded in 2000, and with offices in San Francisco, New York and the U. K., Vibrant Media has a pending patent for IntelliTXT, one of the first products in the contextual advertising market. For more information, visit http://www. vibrantmedia. com (http://www. vibrantmedia. com).

HRchitect Launches Employee Performance Management (EPM) Consulting Practice

HRchitect Launches Employee Performance Management (EPM) Consulting Practice

HRchitect, a Human Capital Management (HCM) consulting services firm and the leader in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) consulting, announced they have expanded their service offerings by launching an Employee Performance Management (EPM) consulting practice to meet a growing need in todayÂ’s workplace.

Frisco, TX / Cambridge, MA (PRWEB) June 3, 2005

HRchitect, a Human Capital Management (HCM) consulting services firm and the leader in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) consulting, announced they have expanded their service offerings by launching an Employee Performance Management (EPM) consulting practice to meet a growing need in todayÂ’s workplace.

HRchitect has been providing high quality ATS consulting services for over eight years with great success. HRchitect is a vendor-neutral technology consulting firm. This neutrality allows them to provide unbiased vendor evaluation consulting services to their clients, which results in the selection of the best vendor for the client based on organizational fit and client needs.

“HRchitect’s vendor neutrality has become our trademark within the vendor market community and within the HCM marketplace,” said Dan Katavola, Vice President of Consulting Services for HRchitect.

Since the beginning of 2005, HRchitect has taken this unique approach to the EPM marketplace. They have studied the vendors in the EPM space, identified and are tracking the top vendors and are now launching their EPM practice. This practice will provide clients and prospects with the same high quality, unique approach to identifying the best solution to meet an organizationÂ’s needs. By truly integrating it with the rest of their clientÂ’s HR technology systems, they provide a cost savings and expertise usually not found in most firms.

“A big part of our business has always been working with clients who are evaluating and selecting ATS systems,” said Rick Fletcher, President of HRchitect. “We’ve become the number one ATS consulting company, and many of our clients have been asking us about EPM systems. As a result, we have educated ourselves about the vendors and products in the EPM space to provide the same kind of unbiased support and expertise that leading companies have come to rely on through our ATS practice.”

“After completing a number of EPM software evaluations this year, we find the EPM marketplace is very hot, but also very volatile,” said Matt Lafata, Director of Marketing and head of the EPM practice at HRchitect. “This marketplace lags behind the ATS marketplace by many years and as a result, a number of current EPM vendors may not exist in the future or may be owned by another company. I believe we will also see many new players jump into this marketplace and numerous feature enhancements to existing products as vendors try to become the leader of an emerging market.”

“The advantage we bring to any prospect or client thinking about implementing an EPM system,” continued Lafata, “is not only our knowledge of the products, but also the vendors and their viability, (ie: the inside story). We strive to assist our clients in becoming enlightened and more knowledgeable in order for them to make informed decisions."

Companies interested in implementing a new EPM system or replacing an existing EPM system, should contact HRchitect for a free phone consultation. As the leaders in EPM consulting, HRchitect helps companies avoid making costly mistakes that are prevalent in HCM systems evaluations and implementations. HRchitect will help to ensure that the best long-term product is selected the first time.

Visit HRchitect at www. HRchitect. com or call 469-287-6001 for more information.

Inovio Biomedical Provides Updated Interim Data on Phase I/II Clinical Study of Electroporation-Delivered Prostate Cancer DNA Vaccine at ASGT Annual Meeting : Online audio interview available

Inovio Biomedical Provides Updated Interim Data on Phase I/II Clinical Study of Electroporation-Delivered Prostate Cancer DNA Vaccine at ASGT Annual Meeting : Online audio interview available

Inovio Biomedical Corporation (AMEX:INO), a leader in enabling the development of DNA vaccines using electroporation-based DNA delivery, announced today that Dr. Christian H. Ottensmeier, MD, PhD, Cancer Research UK Senior Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Southampton, presented updated interim data from a clinical study of an experimental DNA-based prostate cancer vaccine at the American Society of Gene Therapy 11th Annual meeting in Boston, May 28 – June 1. The data reaffirms that, post-treatment, this therapy has proven to be safe and well-tolerated. Additional testing has further validated higher levels of antibody and anti-DOM CD4 responses achieved in patients treated using electroporation.

SAN DIEGO (PRWEB) June 5, 2008

This academic study is a phase I/II study of 30 HLA A2+ patients with biochemical failure of prostate cancer. The study is testing a DNA fusion vaccine, developed in Southampton, encoding for an immunostimulant sequence from tetanus linked to a sequence from prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA27). The study is also evaluating electroporation as a novel delivery strategy for DNA vaccines compared to DNA delivered without electroporation.

Patient enrollment for this study has been completed. Monitoring of antibody responses was completed for the 20 patients at the first and second dose levels. Monitoring of CD4 cellular immunity has been completed for the 10 patients at the lowest dose. These 10 patients have additionally been assessed for CD8 T-cell responses. Interim results to date include:

Vaccination with and without electroporation has been safe and well-tolerated. 14 of 20 patients developed increases in anti-DOM (the immunostimulant sequence from tetanus) antibody. Of these increased responses, 5 of 10 were in the arm not using electroporation; 9 of 10 were in the electroporation arm. Antibody responses were generally higher in patients treated using electroporation compared to those treated with the DNA vaccine alone (without electroporation). In 9 of 10 patients in the low dose cohort, significant increases in CD4 responses were observed relative to pre-treatment. Of these increased responses, 4 of 5 were in the electroporation arm. Patients treated exclusively with electroporation produced a higher average CD4 response; patients initially treated without electroporation and later receiving a boost in conjunction with electroporation also displayed increased CD4 responses following the electroporation boost. In the low dose cohort, the PSMA27 antigen induced CD8+ cytotoxic T-cells (measured by cultured IFNg ELISPOT) not detected before vaccination in 6 of 10 subjects. Avtar Dhillon, MD, president and CEO of Inovio, said: "We are pleased that this phase I/II clinical study not only established the tolerability of this therapy against prostate cancer but that over time it is continuing to validate the safety of a DNA vaccine delivered using our electroporation DNA vaccine delivery technology. Also important is the heightened immune response achieved using electroporation compared to injection of the DNA vaccine without electroporation."

To listen to an online interview with Dr. Christian Ottensmeier, please click here. Dr. Ottensmeier discusses the use of electroporation to enhance the potency and delivery of DNA vaccines.

Dr Charles Strauman Of Strauman Holistic Chiropractic Treats Chronic Back Pain Sufferers

Dr Charles Strauman Of Strauman Holistic Chiropractic Treats Chronic Back Pain Sufferers

Dr. Charles Strauman of Strauman Holistic Chiropractic uses chiropractic to treat patients who have chronic back pain. Studies show that chiropractic care is more effective in treating chronic back pain than medical care is.

Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) June 30, 2006

Chronic back pain is a multi-billion dollar expense in the United States. It is estimated that about 50 million Americans are living with chronic pain and two-thirds of our population will suffer from some type of acute or chronic back pain at some point of our lives.

You don't have to suffer with chronic back pain anymore says Dr. Charles Strauman of Strauman Holistic Chiropractic. The use of chiropractic has been proven to rid cases of chronic back pain. Traditionally, Americans tend to gravitate towards medical care to treat their chronic back pain. According to a study in the fall of 2005 in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, medical and chiropractic care costs are about equal, but chiropractic care produces better results in treating chronic back pain.

According to Dr. Strauman, "Chronic back pain is an epidemic. It affects the quality of every day life for millions of people. It is particularly frustrating to see so many suffer when a viable solution exists. Chiropractic has been shown to be 90% cheaper than surgery for back pain."

Many times chronic back pain sufferers rely on over the counter or prescription pills to provide temporary relief each day. "This is not a healthy way of dealing with chronic back pain, in fact reliance on these kinds of drugs have negative side effects on your liver, kidneys, and stomach. Use of pain killers also numb a person from warning signals given by their body. I've seen patients with acute back pain who prolong their recovery time. Instead of resting, they will get temporary pain relief from a pain killer and further strain their back muscles and ligaments, says Dr. Strauman.

Dr. Strauman offers his first visit free of charge to anyone looking into chiropractic and how it can help treat their chronic back pain. Dr. Charles Strauman, D. C. is located at 2900 Thomas Avenue South suite 330, Minneapolis, MN 55416. He can be reached by telephone at 612-928-7894.

Dr. Charles Strauman, D. C. is available as an expert source on treating chronic back pain. Please call him at 612-928-7894.

(PRWEB) April 25, 2005

Research shows that when businesses support the arts they attract and retain more satisfied employees and customers. Now businesses have an opportunity for a new reward for their good deeds: national recognition from the pre-eminent business-arts organization in the United States. The Business Committee for the Arts, Inc. (BCA) today announced that nominations are open for THE BCA TEN: Best Companies Supporting the Arts in America. Sponsored by BCA and FORBES Magazine, nominations are being accepted through May 26, 2005, 5:00 p. m. EDT.

The first recognition program of its type, THE BCA TEN was created to recognize small, midsize and large businesses for their exceptional involvement in the arts. A panel of judges from the arts and business will select the ten companies. THE BCA TEN will be announced on October 5, 2005 during a gala event sponsored by the Principal Financial Group® and The First American Corporation to be held in the Rubin Museum of Art, New York, NY.

“These companies will set the standard and be role models for other companies to follow as BCA works to increase business support to the arts by 10% during the next three years,” said Judith A. Jedlicka, President, BCA, a national not-for-profit organization established in 1967 by David Rockefeller to bring business and the arts together.

“Any company selected for THE BCA TEN has a real competitive advantage because employees and customers favor businesses that support the arts,” said J. Barry Griswell, Chairman, President and CEO, Principal Financial Group, and a Vice Chairman of BCA. “We’ve found this to be true in our organization and research from the BCA backs this up.”

According to a recent BCA Online Survey, the majority (93%) of employees responding indicated they would rather work for companies that support the arts and 88% of respondents indicated they would rather do business with companies that support the arts.

“Supporting the arts is good for the arts and it is also good for business and the communities where they are located,” said Christopher Forbes, Vice Chairman Forbes Inc., and a Vice Chairman of BCA. “It is our hope that THE BCA TEN will inspire other businesses to invest in the arts.”

The BCA Leadership Award recipient and the inductee into the BCA Hall of Fame (formerly the BCA Founders Award) will also be announced during the October 5 gala. Recognition events will also be scheduled in the community of each company of the list. For nomination information and a Nomination Form, visit www. bcainc. org/thebcaten (http://www. bcainc. org/thebcaten).

Hospital Zooms to the Top of “Most Safe” Lists with Patient Safety Training from Former Fighter Pilots

Hospital Zooms to the Top of “Most Safe” Lists with Patient Safety Training from Former Fighter Pilots

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN has been ranked very highly on two important industry surveys for hospital patient safety after implementing patient safety skills and tools taught by LifeWings Partners LLC.

Memphis, TN (PRWEB) November 3, 2005

In 2003 Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC), an academic medical center in Nashville, TN, which includes schools of Medicine and Nursing and four hospitals, established a mission to dramatically improve patient safety. Their goal of becoming a top-ten medical school, the persistent press about the prevalence of medical errors, and the rising costs of healthcare all contributed to VUMC’s commitment to undertaking a structured, long-term effort to improve patient safety.

To facilitate these goals, they contracted with LifeWings Partners LLC, a group of former fighter pilots, astronauts and active physicians, to provide aviation-based crew resource management training. The LifeWings training taught VUMC staff members the same teamwork and communication skills used by aviators. They also provided VUMC the tools necessary to create a culture of safety in which potential medical errors are avoided.

This fall, VUMC received feedback and recognition that their patient safety improvement initiative has been extremely successful.

The hospital ranked number one out of almost 900 hospitals that submitted information for the 2005 Leapfrog Hospital Quality and Safety Survey for patient safety indicators and the creation of a culture of safety in the hospital. Leapfrog Group is a consortium of more than 170 companies and organizations that buy health care. Their goals include: improving patient safety; creating the opportunity for the healthcare community to be rewarded for quality care; and helping consumers make smarter healthcare choices. The survey was started in 2001 as a way of measuring and rewarding hospitals that implemented patient safety practices that, if implemented in non-rural hospitals, could save an estimated 65,000 lives each year and prevent as many as 900,000 serious medication errors each year.

Further confirmation that VUMC’s crew resource management training initiative is working was found in the University Healthsystem Consortium’s (UHC) list of Safest Hospitals. The University Health Consortium is an alliance of 90 academic medical centers that offers services to help academic medical institutions improve performance. Their extensive study of quality and patient safety included voluminous data from every patient from academic medical centers meeting the strict UHC criteria. This data included statistics not typically available to the public concerning things like mortality rates and patient equity. VUMC was ranked in the top fifth for patient outcomes of all hospitals represented in this exhaustive and highly-respected study.

Harry R. Jacobson, MD, the Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs, Vanderbilt University stated that “Vanderbilt University Medical Center is absolutely committed to achieving the highest level of quality and patient safety and crew resource management plays a crucial role in achieving that goal. Over the past three years we have trained almost 2,500 physicians, employees, and nurses as a part of building a culture of safety.”

To continue the success of this training, VUMC is establishing an alliance with LifeWings Partners LLC that will enable them to bring these improvements in patient safety and quality to more departments at the medical center, and to hospitals nationwide.

Examples of this successful training effort are used extensively in a new book authored by LifeWings President, Steve Harden and members of the VUMC team, Dr. Drew Gaffney and Dr. Rhea Seddon, both practicing physicians and former astronauts. The book titled “Crew Resource Management Training: The Flight Plan for Lasting Change in Patient Safety”, provides a step-by-step guide for hospitals to use to implement these aviation-based strategies. The book is available at www. hcmarketplace. com/prod-3676.html (http://www. hcmarketplace. com/prod-3676.html).

About LifeWings Partners LLC

LifeWings Partners LLC was founded in 1999 by a former U. S. Navy Topgun Pilot and commercial airline pilot. The firm specializes in applying aviation-based training to help healthcare facilities improve patient safety and reduce costs. The firm has helped more than 40 facilities nationwide improve patient safety. Measurable results are documented for LifeWings patient safety training initiatives including one hospital that reduced its surgery error rate from one every 60 days to one every 619 days, 10 times better than the national average. The firm also conducts Leadership Institutes to teach physicians from different facilities better communication and leadership skills.

Maternity Disease Management Helps Meet Positive Expectations

Maternity Disease Management Helps Meet Positive Expectations

Most women tout pregnancy as one of the most rewarding experiences of their lives. For those with pre and post-natal difficulties, however, the greatest reward may come at a great cost. Expenses associated with premature births, high-risk pregnancies and resulting complications make the process increasingly labor-intensive for hospitals and health plans as well.

Manasquan, NJ (PRWEB) December 21, 2005

Most women tout pregnancy as one of the most rewarding experiences of their lives. For those with pre - and post-natal difficulties, however, the greatest reward may come at a great cost. Expenses associated with premature births, high-risk pregnancies and resulting complications make the process increasingly labor-intensive for hospitals and health plans as well.

Acknowledging the interaction of physical and psychological components in disease, healthcare organizations are inventing new programs to detect risk for postpartum major depression (PMD), which affects one of every 10 women, and other pregnancy complications. “Maternity Disease Management: Assessments, Guidelines and Monitoring to Meet Positive Expectations,” an October 5, 2005 audio conference on CD-ROM sponsored by the Healthcare Intelligence Network (HIN), highlights early intervention as a means to control cost and minimize complications associated with pregnancy. During this 90-minute audio conference on CD-ROM, expert panelists explain how early risk identification can improve pregnancy outcomes from the hospital delivery room to the living room at home. For more information, please visit http://www. hin. com/cgi-local/link/news/pl. cgi? maternitycd (http://www. hin. com/cgi-local/link/news/pl. cgi? maternitycd).

“There is a link between the reproductive status and depressive illness,” said Christy L. Beaudin, corporate director of quality improvement at PacifiCare Behavioral Health, who spoke at the conference. “It is estimated that of approximately four million births occurring annually in this country, 40 percent are complicated by some form of postpartum depression or mood disorder.”

What happens after delivery has important implications for what will happen in the future. Postpartum depression is a traumatic condition with lasting effects on a woman's self-confidence as a mother and on her infant's development. In most cases, risk for PMD can be identified during pregnancy so that appropriate follow-up treatment can be proactively put in place to minimize the fall-out.

“Enhancing prenatal care can be labor-intensive with personnel driving most of the cost,” said Joseph Stankaitis, chief medical officer, Monroe Plan for Medical Care, who also spoke at the conference. “But when you assess aggregate program costs over time the savings are obvious. Our program saved us $3.5 million from 1997 to 2004.”

Stankaitis and Beaudin were joined at the conference by Tom Smith, director of medical care management, Health Management Corporation. Together, these speakers offer multi-dimensional insight into maternity management programs, highlighting:

How to identify members at risk for high-risk pregnancies; How to reduce pre-term births; How to conduct evaluations to identify mothers suffering from post-partum depression; Outreach programs that work; Incentivizing participation in the maternity management program; Program results; and Partnering with OB-GYNs.

“These programs enable us to identify and more intensively manage high-risk pregnancies,” said Tom Smith. “Through maximal communication and understanding of healthcare choices associated with pregnancy, we can take proactive measures to combat disease.”

This 90-minute audio conference on CD-ROM benefits CEOs, medical directors, disease management directors, managers and coordinators, health plan executives, care management nurses, business development and strategic planning directors.

Also included are detailed outlines of the panelists’ presentations, a printed transcript and a live question-and-answer session on the CD-ROM in which panelists open the floor for discussion. Home Water Filtration or Bottled Water?

Home Water Filtration or Bottled Water?

A new breed of home water filtration systems which use a process called Reverse Osmosis is set to revolutionise our drinking water; casting doubt over the future of the bottled water market. Following many years of research, the natural process of Reverse Osmsois has been developed to produce exceptionally high quality drinking water, and is capable of removing more than 90% of the impurities present in our water supply.

(PRWEB) October 1, 2005

Drink at least eight glasses of water daily, weÂ’re told, more, if youÂ’re particularly active.

On face value, this is sound advice; our bodies are more than two thirds water and on average we lose around two litres every day, making sufficient water consumption essential for good health.

Just a 2% reduction in our water intake can induce the early signs of dehydration such as fatigue, headaches and the inability to concentrate on simple tasks. Beyond this, dehydration affects digestion, metabolism and immunity until almost every bodily process is encumbered.

But it needs to be pure water, not just fluid; as two litres of anything else just doesnÂ’t measure up.

Tea and coffee for example, are laden with caffeine which is known to trigger dehydration, whereas the acidity of fizzy drinks causes mineral depletion in the body. In contrast, certain sports drinks can contain dangerously high mineral levels if consumed regularly.

Trendy bottled waters canÂ’t be ignored, but with such a vast and competitive market the actual content of these products is questionable. There are also reports of some bottled waters absorbing contaminants from their synthetic packaging.

So itÂ’s pure, clean drinking water we require, and plenty of it.

Currently, there is scant guarantee from water suppliers that our tap water is anything more than ‘safe’ to drink according to government regulations, and not one will endorse its prolonged consumption. However, modern developments in water filtration technology can dispel such concern. To explore the latest advances in Reverse Osmosis water filters visit http://www. organicwater. co. uk (http://www. organicwater. co. uk) and view their current range.

The process of Reverse Osmosis has been known for many years and is present in nature as a means of deriving clean drinking water from the sea (a method exploited by some seabirds), only recently though, has its full potential become apparent.

The law of osmosis states that when two aqueous solutions are separated by a semi-permeable membrane, water will pass through the membrane in the direction of the more concentrated solution.

By applying pressure to the more concentrated solution Reverse Osmosis overcomes this action and extracts pure water by filtering-out impurities.

Unlike many water filters that only remove chlorine and certain pesticides, filter systems using Reverse Osmosis can reject over 90% of the dissolved solids in our tap water, including fluorine compounds, nitrates, trihalomethanes, hormones and harmful metal salts of lead, mercury and cadmium.

Such is the reliability of this procedure, it is now possible for water filtration systems utilising Reverse Osmosis to be installed inexpensively in both commercial and domestic properties; bringing pure, clean drinking water to us all.

Please visit http://organicwater. co. uk (http://organicwater. co. uk) for more information on affordable water filtration systems.

The Japanese Payment Card Market 2008 - New Research Report by Mercator Advisory Group

The Japanese Payment Card Market 2008 - New Research Report by Mercator Advisory Group

With close to 800 million credit and debit cards in circulation at the end of 2007, Japan is one of the countries with the highest payment card penetration. Japanese residents on average have 6.2 credit or debit cards per person, higher than their peers in most card markets around the world including the United States where an average resident has 3.6 cards. However, the usage of these payment cards is quite low compared to their large numbers. An average Japanese resident spent just about $30 (US) on their credit and debit cards in 2007 while the number was close to $180 (US) in the US. As a result, Japan remains a cash-centric society and the payment market opportunities remain largely un-tapped by electronic payments.

Boston, MA (PRWEB) December 14, 2008

The relatively low card usage in Japan can be attributed to a variety of factors, including but not limited to culture, industry infrastructure, card acceptance, and regulatory environment, among many others. For Japanese consumers, however, the reason could be as simple as that: it just doesn't provide enough value in terms of service quality, convenience, and flexibility for consumers to change their preference of cash.

As a result, despite credit card's relatively healthy growth in the past 5 years, it still has a long way to go in terms of becoming Japanese consumer's preferred payment method at POS. The industry has been undergoing a series of major restructuring and consolidation to adapt to changes in the market, competitive landscape and regulatory environment. As for debit cards, the market struggled in the past three years after the initial high-speed growth in the first several years after it was officially introduced in 2000.

However, the emergence of electronic money, namely payment cards and devices powered by a contactless chip, could bring a fundamental change to the way Japanese consumers make payments. Backed by prepaid card accounts as well as credit card accounts, e-Money services, have quickly become the most popular payment method at POS (besides cash of course, at least for now).

Terry Xie, Director of Mercator Advisory Group's International Advisory Service and principal analyst on the report, comments, "The e-Money services will be key to tomorrow's Japan payment card market. Its impact on the increasing use of prepaid cards are well known. But its implications are much more far-reaching than many have realized. For the first time in the history of Japan payment card market, electronic payment methods have become a really viable alternative to cash for payment at POS with its un-precedent level of convenience and flexibility. This will fundamentally change Japanese consumers' perception of electronic payments and its importance cannot be over-estimated. It is the critical market for not just prepaid cards but also credit and debit card industries in Japan. Especially for debit cards, unless the debit card industry figures out a way to get a piece of the fast growing e-Money market, their current struggles will continue."

The most recent report from Mercator's Credit Advisory Service provides an update of the Japan credit card market since 2002, which is the last year discussed in our previous Japan report. Key issues discussed in the report include market growth, profitability, changes in regulation, competitive landscape, recent restructuring, and consolidation activities, plus increasingly active international players. Key market stats, key strategic issues, and their implications on the overall market development are also discussed.

Highlights from this report include:
Cash remains king in Japan, but this situation could change if Japan's payment card industry could find a way to offer the value proposition of cash replacements in different scenarios.

Credit cards enjoy the highest usage rate among electronic payment products in Japan, but profit margins remain relatively thin despite high merchant fees. Japanese consumers have been using credit cards like charge cards, thus limiting the interest income potentials. Recent changes in consumer lending law do not help the cause.

Debit card usage rates have remained low in Japan despite initial rapid growth immediately after the J-Debit scheme was introduced. Unless the industry could improve services and offer more convenience, it could face significant challenges going forward.

E-Money emerged as the fastest growing market segment and its implications are far reaching. At the same time, there are critical issues that still need to be addressed.

Restructuring and consolidation in the industry, and the increasing roles of non-bank and international players will significantly alter the competitive landscape in the Japanese payment card industry.

Holistic Management International COO Reacts to Recent Guardian Article, “Eat Your Greens”

Holistic Management International COO Reacts to Recent Guardian Article, “Eat Your Greens”

Holistic Management International’s COO Peter Holter reacted today to a recent article in The Guardian, “Eat Your Greens,” which suggested that people should seriously consider shifting to a vegan diet because the global livestock sector generates more greenhouse gas emissions than all forms of transport. “While I would never want to discourage anyone from switching to a vegan diet, the problem with livestock is not so much their emissions per se, but how the animals are managed under our industrialized feeding system,” Holter said.

Albuquerque, NM (PRWEB) August 2, 2007

Holistic Management International’s COO Peter Holter reacted today to a recent article in The Guardian, “Eat Your Greens,” which suggested that people should seriously consider shifting to a vegan diet because – according to a well-publicized UN report - the global livestock sector generates more greenhouse gas emissions than all forms of transport.

“While I would never want to discourage anyone from switching to a vegan diet, the problem with livestock is not so much their emissions per se, but how the animals are managed under our industrialized feeding system,” Holter said. “The manure, methane and carbon dioxide build-up the UN report cited are actually caused by confining cows and other livestock in feedlots.”

The Guardian article also reported that the British government is developing a benchmark to measure the carbon impacts of all goods and services, especially food. “We’re glad to see that the British government is becoming so active in trying to combat global warming,” Holter noted, “but we disagree that we must drastically decrease or eliminate meat and dairy consumption to reduce both the human and livestock sector’s carbon impacts.”

Holter suggests that we instead aggressively work to change our methods of livestock management and allow animals to graze out on pastures in a controlled manner. With over two decades of experience, HMI has found that the benefits of controlled grazing are that:

 1. Animals release their manure into the soil with more even distribution.

 2. When animal hooves work the soil, manure is more quickly absorbed - increasing the soilÂ’s organic matter, fertilizing it, and making it healthier.

 3. A larger base of healthy soil absorbs more carbon dioxide, reduces the amounts of methane released into the atmosphere, and has a positive impact on global warming.

 4. We can substantially reduce or eliminate the use of fossil fuels in tractors and fertilizers.

HMI, a non-profit, works with internationally with stewards of large land holdings (including farmers and ranchers, other non-profits and government agencies) to restore their lands to health and profitability. Worldwide, 30 million acres are currently under Holistic Management.

A Milestone for Ebay Sellers, Bulk & Wholesale Traders, and Entrepreneurs

A Milestone for Ebay Sellers, Bulk & Wholesale Traders, and Entrepreneurs

Although Ebay has provided a storm of opportunity for individuals to do legitimate business online, it has also brought with it the flood of dropship directories, ebooks, and websites that adorn search engine results from popular companies like Yahoo and Google. For those of you looking to avoid these marketing labyrinths, ResellHub. com seems to offer a clean and legitimate avenue for better business contacts and results.

(PRWEB) March 18, 2005

While Ebay has provided a storm of opportunity for individuals and small companies to do ligitimate business online, it has also brought with it the flood of dishonest dropship directories, ebooks, and websites that adorn search engine results from popular companies like Yahoo and Google.

Newcomer, ResellHub. com, bypasses these downfalls and provides the general public, who wish to earn extra money by reselling products on auction sites, with direct wholesale leads.

In 2004, Ebay reported $34.2 billion in merchandise sales from its users, which was an increase of 44% from 2003, according to their 2004 financial report. This growth reveals that more and more users are selling products and making money doing so. In fact, a growing number of people now make their living off of reselling on Ebay. Ebay understands that their sellers are the reason for their success and has even been reported to offer health insurance packages to their highest sellers, or "PowerSellers" as they like to call them.

The American dream is finally getting to the point where everyone can enjoy the benefits of making their own money, rather than working their heart out for someone else's ultimate financial gain. This world-wide market has been stabalized and anyone can participate. The question is, where can one find products to resell for profit, without getting ripped off?

Garage sales, obsolete household items, self-made products, honest dropship companies (companies that let the public to sell their products for profit and ship them to the customer with the resellers name on the label), and wholesale items found online make up the answer to this question.

ResellHub. com does not host garage sales or help the public find unused household items. However, they can offer Ebayers and resellers direct leads to wholesale merchandise to resell and information on honest dropship opportunities.

Matthew Fairchild is an employee of Kibria Group, a company that deals with bulk computer equipment. "These search engine results make it rather difficult to locate a certain type of product that is available in bulk at wholesale prices. If I want to find someone who has 300 laptops for sale, I don't want to wade through over 100,000 search results that can only offer me only a directory. I want to find the holder of these laptops directly! ResellHub. com has become my primary source for these types of leads."

ResellHub. com seems to share the exact outlook as Mr. Fairchild. At their site, resellers will only see business / market categories, the products offered, and contact information.

For those of you looking to avoid these marketing labyrinths, ResellHub. com seems to offer a clean and legitimate avenue for better business contacts and results.

A free trial of the ResellHub service is available at ResellHub. com. For more information, please visit www. ResellHub. com.

FitPass Network Launches Innovative Fitness Club in San Diego

FitPass Network Launches Innovative Fitness Club in San Diego

FitPass Network is a pay-as-you-go fitness pass to a network of fitness providers within San Diego. FitPass Members gain all-access to our partner's fitness services such as yoga, pilates, crossfit, mixed martial arts, dance, swimming, and gym. FitPass Network is currently available in Mission Beach, Mission Hills, North Park, Pacific Beach, Point Loma and Downtown neighborhoods of San Diego.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) September 15, 2010

FitPass Network has launched a new fitness membership that provides access to a variety of fitness options in San Diego including gyms, martial arts, pools, Pilates, yoga, and dance studios. With no contracts, commitments, or initiation fees, customers have the flexibility to exercise when and where they want; at a wide range of pre-qualified independent fitness choices. As FitPass Network Member, Lisa Wares says, "I have all the workout options to keep it exciting and make it easy to workout with friends. The best part is that I just show up with my FitPass card. That's it. Too easy."

The fitness industry in the US has evolved considerably over recent years. It has grown from local gyms and fitness groups to a $19 billion dollar industry serving 45.5 million health club members. Traditional gyms have been a staple of American culture since 1848 when the Turner group began opening gyms in major US cities and the growing movement was fueled by the spread of YMCAs across the country. Fitness options have expanded to offerings from different countries such as Bikram Yoga and Latin Dance, as well as newly popular alternatives like Pilates and boot camps. As health and exercise have increased in public awareness over the decades, multiple celebrity and non-celebrity endorsed fitness products have made their way into households everywhere.

This evolution has also led to a consolidation into large corporate fitness centers like 24-Hour Fitness, LA Fitness, Bally’s, and other regional chains. These larger gyms take advantage of economies of scale and can offer customers numerous locations over a wide geographic reach. 24-Hour Fitness has over 400 locations alone and many of the independent fitness locations are finding it difficult to compete with these large corporations despite having excellent offerings. This is much like the effect Wal-Mart has had on the consumer goods retail industry.

Many customers of these gyms are frustrated with the status quo of long-term binding contracts and the limited offerings provided. This included founder and president of FitPass Network, Michael Keplinger. In an attempt to “scratch his own itch”, he initiated a market research project as an MBA student at UCSD’s Rady School of Management to determine if there were other dissatisfied fitness customers like himself. “I found that I wasn’t alone in my disappointment in the status quo of fitness memberships and set out to create an option where people could enjoy all the different ways to exercise while not having to deal with long-term contracts.”, said Mr. Keplinger about his inspiration for FitPass Network. “We hope to break the routine of exercising, by providing access to multiple fitness locations that fit anyone’s taste and schedule, including options that you may never have thought of trying.”

About FitPass Network

FitPass Network provides a health and fitness membership allowing access to numerous and varying facilities such as traditional gyms, yoga studios, Pilates studios, dance studios, martial arts, swimming, racquet sports, and other new exercise trends within our network of participating fitness centers. Members are able to choose a fitness membership that fits their unique needs without initiation fees, long-term contracts, or being bound to one facility. FitPass Network is currently offering fitness locations in Hillcrest, Mission Hills, North Park, Pacific Beach, and Point Loma, and is expanding throughout San Diego County.

Winsper Launches New Website for Quench Coupled with SEO and SEM Campaign

Website Theme Features "Quench Is Changing the Water Cooler Conversation"

Boston, MA (PRWEB) April 21, 2009

Winsper, an independent strategy and marketing firm, announced today it has launched a new corporate website (Insert web address) for Quench, the largest ultraviolet water filtration company in the US. The website launch is coupled with a search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) campaign to drive awareness of the company.

Despite Quench's position as the largest ultraviolet water filtration company in the US, they were virtually invisible in natural search results. Winsper was engaged to decrease sales costs, while raising awareness. Winsper engaged quickly to promote Quench to the top of search engine results and ensure maximum visibility for consumers looking for alternatives to traditional bottled water coolers.
To jump start lead generation during the web development process, Winsper launched a Google paid search campaign and developed a temporary micro-site to accept the new paid search traffic.. Early learnings from this pilot phase were applied to the main website, further increasing high quality traffic.

The main website focuses on how the seemingly simple choice a company makes about water cooler water, is more than just another office staple. The website illustrates how Quench provides a healthier work environment for employees, while being kind to the environment and green friendly.

JD Norman, Winsper's Managing Director states, "Quench represents a great value for consumers with great tasting, healthy water. And because it has less of an impact the environment, it's also a great representation of the consumer's values."

"Winsper has really found new ways to talk about water in the business environment, making it a strategic choice," says Rich Bova, Market President and Partner of Quench. "Already we have seen a significant improvement in our website traffic and lead generation."

Design Company Encourages Healthy Eating Through Use of Subliminal Messages

Design Company Encourages Healthy Eating Through Use of Subliminal Messages

Using functional art with designs of fruits and vegetables can send a positive message and encourage healthy choices that could help meet the government's dietary recommendations.

Livermore, CA (PRWEB) March 30, 2007

Could filling your life with art make you healthier? Officials at the U. S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported this week that less than one third of American adults eat the recommended daily servings of fruits and vegetables. California gift manufacturer Kyle Design (www. kyledesigns. com) suggests that decorating with fruit and vegetable motifs can serve as subliminal messages reminding people to make good dietary choices. "Decorating with images of healthy foods makes them part of your everyday life," states California artist Kyle McKeown Mansfield, the creative force behind Kyle Design.

A piece of functional art with healthful imagery is a subtle way to convince the subconscious mind to choose an apple over a bag of chips. Just surrounding yourself with bright and inviting images will have a positive effect. "Images can be powerful," said Mansfield. "Consciously selecting images that affirm your ideals is a way to reach your goals."

For example, clip a shopping list on the refrigerator with one of Kyle Design's colorful grape magnets. Brighten the kitchen with an apple night light so that when awakened with those nighttime munchies, its soothing red glow will serve as a gentle reminder to go for the bowl of fruit on the counter.

Affirm a decision to eat well wherever you go by putting your keys on a key chain featuring plump red cherries. Mansfield suggests using "a metal wallet with a carrot design to make you stop and think every time you buy a meal away from home." Any of these ideas can provide the impetus needed to reach for a healthy snack and will show other family members that healthy foods are part of everyday life.

Art filled living may be just the positive action to take to help individuals further the government's goal of getting 75% of Americans to eat two servings of fruits and three servings of vegetables every day by the year 2010.

Functional art using healthy images is a positive way to reinforce the value of following the government's recommendations to eat 5 fruits and vegetables every day. Decorating with Kyle Designs line of fruit and vegetable gifts is a stylish way to encourage good choices.

Author Tina Volpe Has A New YearÂ’s Resolution For You - No More Fast Food

Author Tina Volpe Has A New YearÂ’s Resolution For You - No More Fast Food

Author Tina Volpe Has A New YearÂ’s Resolution For You: No More Fast Food.

(PRWEB) December 30, 2004

Fast food giants routinely make business decisions that adversely affect our health, and the welfare of animals in the slaughterhouses.

Vegetarianism anyone?

Canyon Publishing's first title, The Fast Food Craze, will educate readers about underhanded advertising schemes, overstuffed pockets, and how a diet of fast food can harm our health. While asking readers to question themselves -- Why do we eat animals? -- author and vegetarian Tina Volpe describes our treatment of animals raised for human consumption, and alternatively, some insights into these creatures intelligence and character in a natural environment.

From The Author:

When you read The Fast Food Craze, I hope you will:

•learn why the Fast Food giants' meals are so unhealthy, and why they may, in the near future, be forced to put "may cause cancer" labels on one of America's favorite foods...

•be able to make a more informed decision about your food choices.

•ask yourself critical questions about what you believe is really important in this world

•stop and think about what you eat; and

•gain an understanding of how corporate greed and consumers' naivety cause animals to suffer.

For many years, I have explored the topic of eating healthy, and asked myself why the process of creating the palate-pleasing, quick and easy tastes Americans enjoy has to cause so much harm to animals, and wondered why our impatience and need for instant gratification come at the expense of these creatures.

I wrote The Fast Food Craze in hopes that readers will experience the same feelings I felt in writing the book: anger, that the fast food giants are serving us foods that are seriously harming our health and showing no regard for loving, feeling creatures: and love, compassion and a profound sympathy for our animals that ask every second of every day, "Why are you doing this to me?"

DonÂ’t wait to get your copy of The Fast Food Craze and start the The New Year off to a Good Start.

The Fast Food Craze is available to consumers through www. fastfoodcraze. com. (Trade Sales: Canyon Publishing, LLC; ISBN 0-9761343-0-6; 6x9 trade paperback; 144 pages, 30+ photos; $13.95) through Baker & Taylor.

Patient Satisfaction Excellence in Ambulatory Surgery Announced

Patient Satisfaction Excellence in Ambulatory Surgery Announced

Healthcare Benchmarking Leader CTQ Solutions Reports Continued Excellence in Ambulatory Surgery Center Patient Satisfaction During Q1 2010, Led By Outstanding Nursing Staff Performance

Branford, CT (Vocus) June 16, 2010

Following a review of ASC patient satisfaction scores (http://www. ctqsolutions. com/csp/ctqprod/) for the first quarter of 2010, CTQ Solutions announced today that the industry’s two primary loyalty indicators maintained scores of 95.0 or higher, out of a possible 100, for the fourth consecutive quarter. “Measuring Confidence in Care and the degree to which a patient would Recommend a Facility encapsulates all survey key performance indicators,” noted Paul Faraclas, President and Chief Executive Officer of CTQ. "These measures gauge the collective perception of the ASC’s care provided."

“During these four quarters nursing attribute measures were exceptional”, noted Faraclas. Out of the 25-30 most common measures in ASC surveys, all 3 nursing metrics (Knowledge and Competency, Courtesy, and Concern for Comfort) represented the three highest survey scores attained. “Representing over 200,000 ASC patient responses across all demographics and specialties, ASC nurses have something to be extremely proud of”, Faraclas emphasized.

National averages for the 30 metrics most widely-adopted in the ASC industry ranged from 88.7 to 96.7 during this timeframe, with an overall average score of 93.1 as reported by CTQ. Faraclas reasoned that “The high loyalty scores (http://www. ctqsolutions. com/csp/ctqprod/) reflect very high satisfaction with more clinically-oriented measures tied to care-givers and processes.” One component of CTQ’s Critical to Improvement Analysis measures the correlation of each survey attribute to the key loyalty indicators. This helps healthcare entities discern how to best prioritize improvement activities that will optimize patient loyalty.

“It’s not without coincidence that CTQ’s Critical to Improvement correlation analysis ranks Wait Time and Explanation of Fees and Insurance amongst the least important variables tied to whether an ASC patient would Recommend a Facility. In ASCs, nursing and surgeon measures, as well as recovery attributes (Recovery Staff Courtesy and Adequacy of Recovery Time in Facility) rank at or near the top of patient loyalty correlation. Based on this past year’s data, it is clear that the clinical components of care delivery in ASCs are strongly applauded”, added Faraclas.

About CTQ
CTQ is the ASC industry’s first and leading electronic surveying and benchmarking firm, surveying since 2003. CTQ’s EdgeSurvey™ (http://www. ctqsolutions. com/csp/ctqprod/WSEdgeSurveyMain. html) provides a unique approach to maximizing survey response, as well as unparalleled industry reporting, peer-benchmarking and built-in Quality Intelligence.
