9 Months until Your Vitamin Supplements Will Be Banned

9 Months until Your Vitamin Supplements Will Be Banned

The European Union directive on dietary supplements, Will take effect in August of 2005. This directive, which is part of a larger form of legislation called Codex Alimentarius will place severe restrictions on your ability to purchase and use proven, safe and side-effect free solutions to your health problems. These laws will classify proven and safe supplements as “medical drugs”. You will no longer be allowed to exercise your freedom of choice and no longer be allowed to take vitamins, minerals and other supplements which your body needs to remain healthy.

Milwaukee, WI (PRWEB) November 24, 2004

In 2002 the European Union passed the directive on dietary supplements. This directive, which is part of a larger form of legislation called codex alimentarius, is a dangerous directive which takes away your rights as An American citizen to control your own health.

This directive is on track to take effect in the United States in less than one year. August 2005 to be exact, and the scenario above will become reality for all of us. These laws will classify proven and safe supplements as “medical drugs”.

Because Congress passed laws in the 90's and made us part of the world trade organization, The United States is required by law to follow this directive. This is also supported by your FDA. The same FDA which is should be looking out for your best interest when it comes to your health.

Unfortunately, the U. S. media is silent about this disturbing news and the severe restrictions which will take effect less than one year. Are

You aware of the devastating effects this will have on your health?

Naturally, healthy supplements are derived from food and therefore should be treated as food. We in the U. S. already have labeling laws and mega dosing Laws as follows:

All labeling laws - This means if there are any restrictions as to who should not be taking the products, they are listed right on the label.

All mega dosing laws - These laws state: It is illegal to produce a product which will harm someone if consumed in large quantities, unless there is a warning on the label of the product.

All supplement manufacturers are required by law to follow these standards or they will not be in business.

Naturally as you take a serious evaluation of The consequences of compromising our laws, Our constitution, our sovereignty and our Freedoms, You will begin to see that this directive is not For America.

Safe natural supplements and herbs have been proven for over 4,000 years.

Deerfield Beach, FL (PRWEB) May 7, 2005

Platinum Television Group, a leading producer of educational programming, is proud to announce a partnership with Green Seal, an independent, non-profit organization that strives to achieve a healthier and cleaner environment by identifying and promoting products and services that cause minimal toxic pollution and waste, conserve resources and habitats, and minimize global warming and ozone depletion.

Dr. Arthur B. Weissman, president and CEO of Green Seal, will immediately join the Advisory Board of PTG’s well-received show “Business & Beyond,” a 30-minute show aired nationally on National Geographic as well as on regional cable networks. Weissman will also open each show by introducing the companies chosen to appear on the segments.

Green Seal, based in Washington, D. C., has no financial interest in the products that it certifies or recommends nor in any manufacturer or company--its evaluations are based on state-of-the-art science and information using internationally recognized methods and procedures. Thus, Green Seal provides credible, objective, and unbiased information to direct the purchaser to environmentally responsible products and services.

Business & Beyond will produce a special five-part series on “Environmentally Favorable Companies,” in conjunction with Green Seal. “We are excited to present such important options to our TV audience, the informed and discriminating viewers of Business & Beyond,” said Walter Burton, vice president of Platinum Television Group. This new application eliminates the drudgery of manually sifting through activity logs by providing real-time automated reporting, alerting and monitoring software, enabling storage and backup administrators to spend more time focusing on high-value work. In addition, the Compliance Reports Module gives senior managers the visibility and level of detail needed to ensure that their data-protection services are meeting their corporate business objectives.
