Optical Image Technology Hires Controller as Company Continues to Grow

Jeff Krantweiss joined OIT on May 1, 2006 as Corporate Controller. Krantweiss will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting, accounts receivables and payables management, and cost containment. He, an alumnus of Penn State University with an undergraduate degree in business logistics and a graduate degree in accounting, brings over ten years of accounting experience.

Optical Image Technology, Inc. (OIT) is pleased to announce the hiring of Corporate Controller, Jeff Krantweiss.

Jeff Krantweiss joined OIT on May 1, 2006. Krantweiss is responsible for the day-to-day accounting, accounts receivable and payables management, and cost containment. He will also be instrumental in forecasting and budgeting for the future growth of the company.

Krantweiss, an alumnus of Penn State University with a B. S. in Business Logistics and an M. S. in Accounting, brings over ten years of accounting experience to Optical Image Technology. He has worked in both the public and private sectors for companies such as Corning, Inc., Arthur Andersen, LLC, and Urish Popeck & Co., LLC, locally. His knowledge and skill set includes consulting, attestation services, auditing and tax services for commercial, non-profit and government clients. “Working for an established company and continuing along my career path will be gratifying. I look forward to returning to the private sector and assisting OIT as it continues along its growth plan,” states Krantweiss.

Active in community and professional organizations, Krantweiss is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and serves as a board member for both the Centre Communities Chapter of the American Red Cross and State College Meals on Wheels.

Krantweiss is a native of Chelmsford, Mass. and has lived in various states, but he now calls State College, Pa. home. He is married and has three boys. In his spare time he enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with his family.
