Willingboro, NJ (PRWEB) February 9, 2006

Kne-O'Chaw dedicated her new CD “Reaching for the Sky” to Dr. Amitabha Das, an advocate for HIV/AIDS patients. The event was held Friday February 3 at Barrons in Clementon. Family and friends of Dr. Das, members of the Garden State Infectious Disease Associates and the nonprofit All About Hope attended the event.

"I never knew that there were people working so hard to take care of other people with AIDS and HIV," she said. "(The proceeds) might not be much but I will give what I can."

Her grandfather, Lenny White, produced and did the studio engineering on the CD. Kne-O'Chaw wrote and arranged the music.

The eighth-grader at Life Center Academy in Burlington Township said she became interested in learning more about HIV/AIDS when White, who works in the administrative office of the Burlington County Health Department, told her about Das, the coordinator of HIV/AIDS/STD programs there.
