(NYSE: AET) recently announced a signed contract for Accordant's constellation of complex, chronic disease management (DM) programs. Accordant, a specialized DM company focusing on less common, chronic diseases, will offer Aetna HMO plan members in the Atlanta area and certain portions of Florida a range of DM programs, including cystic fibrosis, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) and Lupus.
