Nelson Schmidt Wins Five ADDY Awards

The Milwaukee-based integrated marketing communications firm Nelson Schmidt was recognized with five ADDY Awards in a competition sponsored by the Madison Advertising Federation. Founded in 1971, Nelson Schmidt serves a diverse group of national clients including Club Car, Misys Healthcare Systems, Zebra Technologies, Sun Chemical and others. The agency is a member of MAGNET, the Marketing and Advertising Global Network, an affiliation of more than 40 independently owned agencies around the world.

The Milwaukee-based integrated marketing communications firm Nelson Schmidt was recognized with five ADDY Awards in a competition sponsored by the Madison Advertising Federation. These three entries are now all District ADDY Award Finalists.

Nelson Schmidt was recognized with a Gallery Gold ADDY, the equivalent of “Best of Category,” and three Gold ADDY Awards for work done on the WineSpeak campaign. It also won a Silver ADDY Award for posters created for the Nelson Schmidt Branding Seminar.

As winners at the local level, these entries will move onto the District 8 Regional ADDY Awards show, which is sponsored by the American Advertising Federation and recognizes excellence in advertising created in the states of Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. Winners from the 14 regional competitions then advance to the National ADDY Awards.

Winners at the National ADDY Awards will be announced at the American Advertising Federation Annual Conference to be held this June in San Francisco, Calif. The ADDY Awards are the largest ad competition in the world and receive more than 50,000 entries.
