The United States of America is divided today. People shout at each other about politics. In 2000, America was not like this. George W. BushÂs slandering and lies have encouraged bad behavior across the country. This includes the stealing of Kerry Edwards lawn signs, which has become a partisan fad.
John F. Kerry promises an honest, optimistic Presidency. The management and message of his political campaign attests to this.
While promising to reign in the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest one percent of us, Kerry has outlined an agenda to improve the qualities of our lives:
Healthcare: John Kerry promises to reduce the prices of prescription drugs by allowing the re-importation of prescription medication from Canada. Kerry is not a rubber stamp for Big Pharma. His fiscally responsible healthcare plan will see to it that every child in the nation has medical insurance and that alone is reason enough for his endorsement.
Foreign Policy: John Kerry will restore and strengthen the diplomatic alliances that have been ignored and, indeed, spat upon in the last four years. When John Kerry greets world leaders, he does so with integrity and respect. Rebuilding those alliances will be difficult and will require a lot of hand-pressing but I believe Senator Kerry is up to the task.
Environment and Energy: John Kerry plans to invest and promote alternative sources of energy to reduce our dependence on Saudi ArabiaÂs limited resources and to reduce the burden on people at the gas pump.
Kerry will join the majority of world leaders in promoting the Kyoto Treaty, which establishes goals for the reduction of poisonous emissions. Kerry will not drill for oil in our Alaskan wildlife sanctuaries.
Political Ethic: George Bush has been the steward of a White House that has leaked the name of CIA agent; BushÂs White House refuses inquiry and, when there is public outcry - the 9/11 Commission being a rare example  BushÂs White House degraded the CommissionÂs authority and substance on the Sunday morning shows; BushÂs White House openly slanders our public servants, namely Richard Clarke. There is no doubt in our minds that KerryÂs White House will have a higher ethic.
In the last four years, the Bush Administration has done irreparable harm to the country you and I love. It could very well take decades to undo the damage. Voting John Kerry for President is a great start. Fink Tank 3000 endorses John Kerry for President with conviction and patriotism.
