Boston Web Design Launches New Website for the Local Public Health Institute of Massachusetts

The mission of the Institute is to strengthen the capacity of Massachusetts’ local boards of health through workforce education and leadership training. Local Public Health Institute of Massachusetts required a website to promote their emergency preparedness training courses and keep the local public health workforce up to date with course offerings and resources.

The Local Public Health Institute of Massachusetts was created in April 2005 to serve as a training resource for the local public health workforce in the Commonwealth on emergency preparedness topics. Funded by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH), the Institute is governed by an Advisory Council comprised of members of Massachusetts’ public health professional associations, academic partners, state agency partners, the Boston Public Health Commission/DelValle Institute and MDPH staff.
