Cassadaga, FL (PRWEB) August 24, 2006
Located in Central Florida in between Orlando and Daytona Beach, Cassadaga, Florida, is home to about 20 healers certified through the Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp Meeting Association. Each of them has completed an extensive education program that includes classes and experiential training. The healers in Cassadaga are careful to point out that Spiritualist healing is intended to be a compliment to a doctor’s care, not a substitute. As part of the growing community of alternative and/or complimentary health care providers, Cassadaga has organized this premier event -- Body, Mind, Spirit Day -- for the public to learn about and explore the options available to them. There will be vendors and speakers specializing in Reiki, Aromatherapy, BioGenesis, Crystal Healing, Acupuncture, Nutrition and more and all for free.
Cassadaga is known the world over as a Mecca of sorts for Spiritualists, psychic mediums and healers. Founded in 1894 by George Colby as a winter retreat where Spiritualists could live and work together in a warm environment of peace and beauty, present-day Cassadaga offers all that and more. Certified Mediums available for readings are listed daily in the Camp Welcome Center and Bookstore in the A. J. Davis Building, hub of many of the activities available on a daily basis. Information on seminars and workshops covering various topics of interest, Mediums Nights, walking tours of the Camp including night tours, message services and more is available at http://www. cassadaga. org (http://www. cassadaga. org) and http://www. visitcassadaga. com (http://www. visitcassadaga. com).
