Seven Generations Community Center in Ann Arbor, MI, is proud to host renowned Herbalist and best-selling author of New Menopausal Years the Wise Woman Way, Breast Cancer? Breast Health!, Healing Wise and Wise Woman Herbal for the Childbearing Year, Susun Weed. The weekend of June 4-6, 2004, will begin with an evening lecture by Susun on Friday night, then be followed by two all-day classes with her on Saturday and Sunday.

Friday evening’s open talk on the “Six Steps of Healing” runs from 7-9:30pm, and costs only $15-$25. Susun will help us make sense of medicine with the Six Steps of Healing. We'll experience the benefits of doing nothing, examine ways to collect information, learn the differences between nourishing, tonifying, and stimulating, and talk sense about drugs and high-tech medicine.

“Women, Witches and Weeds” is the talk for Saturday, 10am – 5pm; $85-$100. From menstruation to menopause, infertility to too much fertility, bring your questions and concerns to our talking stick ceremony -- hot flashes, headaches, cramps, -- whatever bothers you. Susun will share an abundance of easy, effective, alternative approaches to try-- including herbs, foods, songs, stories, laughs, and some surprises.

The weekend will conclude Sunday with “Chronic Problems, the Wise Woman Way.” Again, this runs from 10am-5pm and costs $85-$100. Here you will learn help for you and your problems: asthma, allergies, arthritis, shingles, headaches, fibromyalgia, cysts, chronic fatigue, digestive complaints, candida, and more.
