Inc. magazine announced its annual Inc. 500 ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. With over 27 million businesses registered in the United States, the Inc. 500 list represents the top-tier businesses in America today. The Inc. 500 list will appear in the September edition of Inc. magazine. The title of the Inc. Magazine issue, soon to hit the stands, is “Meet America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies…and the Superstar Entrepreneurs Who Run Them” (Sept. 2010). Official release date is August 25, 2010. This year’s list measures revenue growth from 2006 through 2009. To qualify, companies had to be US-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent as of Dec. 31, 2009. Inc. 500 companies represent the top tier of the Inc. 5000.
