New Advanced Configuration Management Java Client From McCabe
TRUEchange 3.0 Introduces a Common Multi-Platform GUI, Client-Side Conflict Resolution and Secure Multi-Site Access Via Internet

The latest release of TRUEchange introduces the new Java client as well as the optional add-on product for secure multi-site access via the Internet, TRUEchangeWeb.

TRUEchange 3.0Â’s new common multi-platform, web-enabled GUI presents powerful CM and Workspace views that extend the conceptual views of the TRUEchange SCM system. The CM View displays and offers access to live repository objects using two-pane synchronized tree-view and data panel. The tree-view shows objects and the data panel displays the related data elements. The CM View also allows quick identification of differences among project versions and object-specific right-click menus in both the tree view and data panels.
The Workspace View presents a simultaneous comparative view of the repository versus the local file system. This allows users to dynamically view, modify, and update the status of specific files or entire versions. Users can easily merge repository changes directly into their workspace and perform other CM actions simply via right-click menus.
TRUEchange 3.0Â’s powerful new Client-side Conflict Resolution tool allows users to preview and accurately resolve differences prior to check-in. Users evaluate conflicts using multiple panes for the target, source and base code. The flexibility of this tool allows users perform and track manual edits, pause and resume conflict resolution processes, and print and save to file.
In conjunction with the release of TRUEchange 3.0, McCabe introduces TRUEchangeWeb. This add-on component provides secure access to multiple TRUEchange systems worldwide via the TRUEchange 3.0 Java client.
