The Sensa Weight-Loss System Partners with Independent Physicians and Health Experts for Advisory Panel
The weight-loss product brings a panel of experts to encourage customers and bring health awareness to the brand
El Segundo, CA (PRWEB) January 14, 2010
In January 2010, The Sensa Weight-Loss System furthers its commitment to helping Sensa users reach their weight loss (http://www. trysensa. com) goals with the launch of the Sensa Advisory Panel. Consisting of medical doctors and fitness and nutrition experts, the panelists offer independent advice to Sensa users to encourage living a healthier lifestyle. Developed by Dr. Alan Hirsch, the Sensa Weight-Loss System is based on more than 20 years of research. Sensa is an entirely different type of weight-loss program; no pills, no stimulants, and no restrictions on the types of foods that can be eaten. Since its August 2008 market debut, Sensa has been used by hundreds of thousands of Americans in their quest to lose weight.
“Our customers have taken the first step to achieving their weight-loss goals when they order Sensa,” says Dr. Alan Hirsch, neurologist, psychiatrist and founder of Sensa Weight-Loss System, “we want to ensure their success by giving them access to some of the best professionals in the business to help them on their journey.”
The advisory panel includes:
Hilton Hudson II, M. D. (Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Franciscan Physicians Hospital)
Dr. Hilton Hudson is the Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Franciscan Physicians Hospital in Indiana and the C. E.O. and Chairman of Hilton Publishing, the nation’s only publisher of books on minority health and wellness. As a cardiothoracic surgeon, Dr. Hudson is concerned about the growing epidemic of obesity and its negative effect on heart health. He is optimistic that Sensa can have a significant impact on obesity and related health issues.
Brooke Joanna Benlifer, R. D. (Registered Dietitian)
Brooke Benlifer is a registered dietician with expertise in many areas of medicine, including diabetes, cardiac health and gastrointestinal issues. A graduate of Cornell University, Brooke is passionate about preventative health and its power to help people lead more fulfilling lives. She was particularly interested in Sensa’s focus on enhancing satiety in order to encourage portion control without the use of stimulants or the need for drastic changes in daily habits.
Carl M. Wahlstrom, Jr., M. D. (Psychiatrist, Rush University Medical Center)
Dr. Wahlstrom is an Assistant Professor, in the Department of Psychiatry at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, as well as the Assistant Medical Director of Rush’s Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic. In his private practice, he specializes in the treatment of a wide variety of mental conditions, including eating disorders, and is a highly sought-after forensic psychiatric consultant. Dr. Wahlstrom was fascinated by how Dr. Hirsch’s research related to his own weight-loss experience. As a psychiatrist, he is particularly interested in the evolutionary drive to overeat and Sensa’s effect on the satiety process.
Marcos Prolo (Personal Trainer and Fitness Expert)
Marcos Prolo is the owner of Fitness Factory and the star of 10 top-selling exercise videos. An international presenter, Marcos has taught his innovative fitness workshops in over 20 counties. He also is the creative force behind group exercise programs for top health clubs throughout the United States. Marcos was drawn to Sensa because he saw an opportunity to help people build on their weight-loss success by incorporating exercise without the need for drastic lifestyle changes. He believes people are more likely to stick with an exercise program if it doesn’t disrupt their daily routine.
Kelsey Henderson (Executive Chef)
Winner of NBC’s The Chopping Block, Kelsey previously was head chef at Hotel Le Petit, a high-profile boutique hotel in West Hollywood, and was personal chef for Madonna and Shakira. She has also worked alongside celebrity trainer, Tracy Anderson, cooking meals for her clients. Kelsey is intrigued by the challenge of creating high-satiety recipes that fit within the Sensa Weight-Loss Program to help people maximize their weight-loss results. She is especially excited by the notion that small changes in diet can help people get more satisfaction and feel full longer while taking in a smaller number of calories, so that they can continue to enjoy food to the utmost and still lose weight.
