By joining together, the two companies offer a complete program for compliance with the new requirements of the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Elements range from assessing an organizationÂ’s present status to developing internal control structures that will withstand SEC scrutiny. Publicly-traded companies will be held to new ethical standards and financial reporting requirements under the act.
