Chase Park Plaza Previews Fitness and Wellness Center

Future residents and club members foretaste $2.5 million addition to The Chase Park Plaza -- Santé.

St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) November 4, 2007

The developers of The Chase Park Plaza announced the name and detailed plans last night for a high-end, state-of-the-art fitness and wellness club. Being built with an investment of nearly $2.5 million, Santé, slated to open in February, "will be more than a workout facility; it will be a retreat to balance mind and body," said Santé Fitness Director Joy Rowberry.

St. Louis VIPs had an exclusive first look at the center's renderings and drawings last night. The invitation-only celebration represented the first opportunity for prospective members to preview the center's exceptional programs and services and to receive early reservation incentives.

"We knew that we wanted to brand the new wellness facility with the same level of service, quality and excellence as one would expect with an event, hotel stay or living at The Chase Park Plaza," said Marcia Smith Niedringhaus, one of the developers of The Private Residences at The Chase Park Plaza, the hotel and now Santé. She then raised a toast for Santé, which means "to your health."

To provide future members with a glimpse of what awaits them, the team will host a membership open house Saturday, Nov. 3, from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m. Interested members can take advantage of a limited number of charter memberships, which will be offered at especially favorable rates. An exclusive offer to charter members is the limited-availability platinum membership option. In addition to the benefits of traditional membership, including access to the club, daily locker, validated free parking, guest privileges and all of the programs and services provided by the professional fitness and wellness team, platinum members will have free valet parking, a permanent locker, laundry service for workout attire and extended guest privileges. A corporate membership option will also be offered.

Santé, with its exquisite 18,000-square-foot design, will offer personal lifestyle assessments, personal fitness training, personal Pilates sessions, nutritional counseling, luxurious locker rooms and amenities, group exercise studios, a variety of group classes including Pilates, yoga and cycling and massage services. Fitness classes such as marathon training and "boot camp" will make extensive use of nearby Forest Park.

"Santé will complement the hotel services and offer another unprecedented amenity for The Private Residences at The Chase Park Plaza," said Smith Niedringhaus. "Just as enjoying a glass of fine wine involves all five senses; Santé will engage and balance not only the senses but the mind, body and spirit."

The facility is being built in collaboration with Meritage Healthcare Strategies for market research, business planning and facility development; MPowerSolutions for training of membership advisors; Club & Spa Synergy Group for membership integration; and Toky Branding + Design for branding and marketing.

About The Chase Park Plaza

What began as two buildings, The Chase Park Plaza has been a St. Louis landmark since the 1920s. Over the years, the Chase and Park Plaza welcomed kings, queens, rock and opera stars, athletes and politicians. The Chase became the home away from home for renowned actors, singers and politicians traveling through St. Louis, including every American president from the 1920s to the 1980s. The Chase continues to evolve, bringing storied history and lavish accommodations together with upscale living and unparalleled amenities. More than 80 years later, The Chase Park Plaza encompasses the five-screen Chase Park Plaza Cinemas, Café Eau & Bistro, The Tenderloin Room, Khorassan Room, The Zodiac Room and Starlight Roof, Chasers Lounge, a beautifully renovated conference center, The Chase Park Plaza apartments (soon to become The Private Residences at The Chase Park Plaza) and an 18,000-square-foot fitness center.
