Conceived by long-time Malibu resident and Biometics Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer Ted Silverberg, the Biometics Beach Buy and Barter Bazaar seeks to sell, recycle, and donate the executive’s extensive collection of hundreds of regular and stand-up paddle (SUP) surfboards, and a vast array of pre-owned beach and ocean recreation equipment, including fins, snorkels, wetsuits, bodyboards, and related accessories. As part of the program, Biometics will also accept donations of used surfing and beach gear in good condition from the general public, and then distribute those items to worthy individuals and organizations in Ventura County and Malibu. All items for sale are available at extremely affordable prices, and equitable trades may be made for those who have outgrown their equipment or may simply want to try something new.
