Pastor Arthur L. Mackey, Jr., noted author and Pastor of Mount Sinai Baptist Church Cathedral in Roosevelt, New York, announced that on July 1st all roads are headed to the Rev. A. L. Mackey, Sr. Park (formerly Roosevelt Park) in Roosevelt, New York, for Youth Day at the Park. Everyone is welcome. Youth groups from all over the tri state area and across the nation will converge at the site for a highly informative day full of fellowship, friendship, fun, and good food. For more information call Church Clerk Trustee Mary Portis at the Church Office (516) 868-0076. Youth speakers, youth choirs, job and health information will highlight the one day event. The theme of Youth Day at the Park 2006 is "Ministering To The Whole Man".
Youth Singers and Praise Dancers will include Sis. Charmise Desiree, Sis. Shelly Giles of Arts in Motion, Agape Praise dancers, Allen A. M.E. Prasie Dancers, The I Support Roosevelt Karate Team and Dancers, Bethel A. M.E. Praise Dancers, Freewheel Baptist Church Youth Choir and Praise Dancers, Mt. Zion of New Jersey, Faith Baptist Church Youth Choir, Progressive Movement - The Chosen Few, and many, many more.

Carrie Lewis, the highly regarded Director of Roosevelt Head Start, is the Yout Director, and Operation Desert Storm Veteran Deacon David Alves is the Co-Youth Director. The Mount Sinai Baptist Church Cathedral Youth Leadership Team has put together a wonderful event. Minister In Training Connie Todd is the event Chairperson.
