Las Tiendas Village Shopping Center Sponsors Breast Cancer Awareness Event
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the merchants at Las Tiendas Village Shopping Center in Chandler, Arizona are showing their support by hosting a fundraising event which features attractions such as the local Fire Trucks, Hamilton High School Cheerleading Squad, free chair massages, free prize giveaways, and free health demonstrations and screenings. The event is on Saturday, October 14, 2006 between 10 am and 2 pm. Admission is free to the public.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month and the merchants at Las Tiendas Village in Chandler are hosting a fundraising event to promote awareness for Breast Cancer and support ongoing research. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 14 from 10 am to 2 pm. Admission is free and families are invited to enjoy various activities sponsored by the Las Tiendas Village Merchants.
Attractions will include a chance to view the Chandler Fire Department Fire Truck and PMT Ambulance. Donation stations will be located in the center to provide a chance to donate to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Ladies can receive a free Breast Cancer Health Kit from the American Cancer Society and also receive instruction on post-mastectomy scar exercises and therapeutic massage at UCR Health Centers. Slim and Tone is offering free body fat testing and an assessment of body mass index. There will also be free Blood Pressure checks and also free chair massages. Hamilton High School Cheerleading Squad will be demonstratingt cheers in support of Breast Cancer research. UCR Health Centers is also starting their 2006-2007 Flu Shot Campaign and the public will have a chance to receive their vaccination early for the upcoming flu season. There will be food sponsors from the local restaurants and free prizes giveaways including a Prize Wheel of Fortune from Las Tiendas Merchants. Sponsoring merchants will also be donating up to 15% of all food sales during the event hours directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
